I liked how close it was to the George R Brown. The breakfast was good with lots or variety. The beds were comfortable and our room was on the larger side. I needed early check in and they were very accommodating. The staff was very nice and helpful.

There was only 1 working elevator for two hotels and we were on the 10th floor. 3 working elevators isn't enough, let alone 1. The bathroom didn't have shampoo or conditioner, the bottles were empty. The food from the restaurant downstairs was meh and expensive. Not that the hotel could do anything about this, but there was drag racing all night just outside that was very loud and kept me awake till 4 am. I have stayed in better hotels for half the price, but I believe it is so high due to it's location.

We loved the tea/coffee station in the lobby. The mattress and bed linens were very good. The pool area is very nice, my wife spent many afternoons there sunbathing. We didn't try the pool itself, but it looks nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful, thank you! There is also a mini convenience store in the lobby, we got lots of ice cream. The prices are not outrageous. The view from our room to the back of the hotel is very nice, especially at night. The free breakfast is a nice bonus, but the buffet could have more variety.

The bathtub is too small for large people, expect to touch the curtain and walls while taking a shower The wardrobe is also very small, we used the tables and our luggage to expand our clothing space.

The location. The location of the hotel was in the perfect spot for the events that I was involved in over the weekend. The hotel was in walking distance of everywhere I needed to go.

The price of the parking was misleading. Even when I asked I was told one amount, but then at the end of the stay was told/charged a completely different amount than what the individual had told me. More accessible parking, or even parking that was withing walking distance, that is communicated, would be better than charging $200 for 3 nights of parking.

Upmarket hotel in a good downtown location. Friendly and efficient staff on the main desk, with a small shop selling various snacks and drinks, a large lounge area, and a decently sized breakfast area. Rooms were nice, everything clean and in place, comfortable beds. Breakfast choices were good. Just around the corner, a one minute walk away, is one of the best steak restaurants in town, Vic & Anthony's - not cheap and somewhat exclusive with a dress code, but superb food and service. Hotel is also close to Minute Maid Park if you want to see the Astros ball game, and close to the George R. Brown Convention Center.

We were just staying one night. Hotel policy checkout is 12:00. At 08:45 (we were resting after 2 long days) housekeeping knocked on the door and almost entered before one of is had chance to get to the door, asking what time we were checking out. Not good. Also, the included breakfast was OK. Very disappointed to see the hotel using PLASTIC cutlery. A massive waste of single use plastic. Hilton can do better than this!!!Please pass on to the hotel.

The double room was spacious enough to accommodate our family of 4 ( we changed hotels at the last minute becaise we were unhappy and everyone at the Hampton was so helpful!) Parking was available, and breakfast is abundant! Shuttle was available, and Jesse was helpful, suggesting dinner spots and pointing out shops on our route.

This is a really cosy hotel. it is really value for money as all the facilities that I needed for my 2 weeks stay is adequate and sufficient.

it would be great to have a kettle in the room so i dont need to go down to get hot water :)

I liked the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff! And the location! It was also close to the concert we attended and we were able to just walk there. Also there's a small bar with food inside the hotel for food and drinks. Free breakfast was delicious and had a big variety of items to choose from. Comfy rooms and beds with a view of downtown Houston. Pool was nice too! Overall a great place to stay.

No free parking. There is a lot across the street that charges a fee but is not affiliated with or recommended by the hotel. So you kinda have to pay the valet charge for a secure private parking garage. Also there is a cleaning deposit that's pricey we were unaware of. But we got it back after our stay.

The hotel is in a great area downtown. It's walking distance from many restaurants and different things to do--including the Toyota Center and Puttshack, which was so fun! Perfect place to stay for concerts downtown or baseball games, as it's just across the street from Minute Maid Park. The breakfast was great! Hotel staff, including valet, was welcoming and quick.

I enjoyed having a variety to choose from than just pastries, so it was nice to have some oatmeal and eggs for breakfast as well as fresh fruit. the staff was friendly and helpful. I was happy to see we had a refrigerator in our room as well as storage to put our snacks/food.

I was there for a training so a to go bag would have been nice. I usually like to get to my venue early by 5am so i wish the breakfast was open earlier. But all in all I appreciate having the breakfast and worked around the time it opened and made our breakfast to go to stand in line early.
