Everything. This was probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at. Everything was super clean and put together. My personal favorite was the Nespresso in the room. Storage space was awesome! The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were kind and professional! The valet team was top tier! We left a phone in our car and the valet team had no issues brining the car back up front at 2am. This was a great place to stay for a birthday celebration out in Houston!

The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The fragrance wasn’t what I care for. But that’s my fault for forgetting my own. So I’m not letting that impact my review or the possibility of staying here in the future.

I thought the staff was extremely helpful. The food was very good. The service by Cristan was excellent and he was so helpful. So was the young lady at check in

The area in the Oak Hulk restaurant near the kitchen had a nat problem . It almost made it unbearable to sit in that area . I feel that the pool area is way too small for the cabana to be like four reservations only places to sit . But I enjoyed the pool experience in all.

The Hotel ambience had a beautiful modern old world charm. The Lobby was really quite lovely. The room itself had a wonderfully comfortable bed - the highlight was the shower, this was huge and the shower rose provided great pressure with a soft touch. The final highlight was the breakfast - we anticipated a buffet, however, it was a menu which was well constructed - really great options.

A little dissapointed the room was not made up on day two and the water replaced. We should have been told on Booking.com that parking was offsite and at a high cost due to city location.

We didn’t have breakfast, but had an evening meal on arrival.

The Hotel took a bond amount equivalent to the night’s accommodation and 2 weeks later had not refunded the incidentals ($296.58US). They have not responded to several emails, both Reservations or Management. 16 days after our checkout, we have still not received our refund. Very poor :(

The hotel is lovely and perfectly located in downtown Houston. My friends and I stayed there because we were celebrating downtown. The bar was great, and the overall experience certainly met our expectations.

It was a little pricier than I think it should have been. Other than that, all good! I loved my corner room. Everything was what I wanted in terms of luxury.

Attractive room, if a little modest in size. Great bathroom with sliding door opening to a closed toilet rea, and generous shower. Downtown location, Easy access to parking garage a block away.

At arrival at the hotel, my booking.com reservation was not acknoledged ! They had no record of it ! I made the reservation a couple of months in advance. However the front desk did offer me the same rate when I showed them my printed out copy. Requested bar fridge to be emptied of liquor. My travel partner is former alcoholic.The management said that would not be a problem, but never did do it. Also no access to use of fridge to put water in, without being charged to open the fridge. The shower handheld was misfunctioning , spraying from the connection. Reported it, but was not fixed over a two night visit.

The location was perfectly centered downtown to enjoy nearby fine dining, the catwalk between several businesses, Fitness, restaurants, and bowling. The deluxe king suite is meant for lovers. Separate soaking tub and rainfall-head shower (big enough for two wink wink). The folding mirrored doors beside the tub can be opened to provide a view to the bed area. A must book room.

I have no complaints other than I wish it was closer to home. Will have to settle for The Laura being a getaway place.

The location is fantastic for downtown Houston. There is parking garages nearby where you can leave your car overnight. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

The pool hours are odd - 8am to 8pm. It would be nice to have the pool open until 10. The pool is smaller than you think based on the photos, and packed. We stayed two nights and the room wasn’t cleaned even though we left before noon and came back in the evening. The walls can be a little thin. We had a couple arguing next door for hours and that wasn’t the most pleasant. The cost for valet parking is more than double what the parking garage across the street will charge you.

I prefer the suite instead of regular room. the regular rooms were nice as well no, but no where near as nice as the suites. my first initial stay we booked a suite we enjoyed it so much that went again for a second time. I like that you were able to bring your drinks to your room. The staff were super nice and welcoming

the pool should stay open longer

I liked that it was easy to find, staff was nice, funny and polite. The property was clean and the bed was really comfortable. I liked the food at the hotel bar and the water offered in the lobby. Room service was quick.

No microwave and the mini fridge was 1) locked or broken and wouldn't open and 2) too small to hold any left overs. No free wi-fi in the rooms only in the common areas.
