Very luxurious. Huge room. Great outdoor pool area. Free breakfast. Excellent location.

Disappointing check in experience. They said we hadn’t paid and tried to charge us a second time. Then said our credit card had been declined. Then when we pointed out that we’d booked via booking.com they said that we had to contact them as the problem was with their card. Eventually they realised that the hotel had requested the wrong amount from booking.com and that was why it was declined. They then authorised the correct amount and it went through. At every step of the way they implied that the fault lay with us, and at no stage did we receive an apology.

The room was huge! Huge desk space for me to work comfortable. Huge tv. Huge bed. Huge shower. Starbucks on the bottom floor too! Woke up in the morning, got my fancy coffee, and went up to my room and turned the AC down (which worked great). Even the chair was comfortable. Couch was big and comfy. Beautiful huge old windows that I loved. Staff at front desk AND valet were both really friendly and nice :)

Honestly nothing negative to report. Only reason I gave it a 9 was because I've stayed at the Virgin hotel which was insanely nice for about the same price (thanks to booking dot com). So, it's not that it was bad at all just not over the top.

The staff was extremely friendly everyone spoke when they saw you through out the building. The Val-let was extra nice even with it being extremely hot they kept a positive attitude on their face. Breakfast staff was also friendly front desk was always willing to help and ask if we needed anything. Typically at hotels I would have house keeping coming to check to see if we needed anything but this time we didn’t we had to call but they brought what we needed to the room. Overall this was an amazing stay in Houston oh I almost forgot to mention the roof top pool is lovely at night with an amazing breeze. Thank you for the stay 🥰

All the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and the restaurant menu had tasty and healthy choices. The suite room was very comfortable. Great value for the price.

The room and facilities were a little dated, and my room was not tidied during the two-night stay (but many hotels are doing that now).

The location was perfect! Right on Main Street & I loved how we walked on the property from outside I could literally smell the hotel from outside! It was just so fresh and clean. The breakfast was hands down one of the best I’ve ever eaten from a hotel. Always freshly made each morning we were there. The staff were so nice. I stayed in 905…next to the elevator shaft. I could hear the grinding sound of up and down when someone was using the elevator. I told the checkout front desk to maybe have Maintenance check it out.

Proximity to Daikin Park and dining.

No Coca-Cola products available on site. Also, I forgot my phone charger and there were none available to lend or purchase.

The wifi was down most of the time I was there, also the tv channels where not good, although I was not in my room for very long just to sleep and shower, Also needs more usb ports. They also charged me for who knows what? those fees are ridiculous, I did not use the pool it was too cold, or the exercise room, and the laundry still uses coins!, no one uses cash anymore! ?

All staff members were very friendly, positive and helpful. The room was big and clean. The location is great to be able to walk all around downtown Houston and the light rail is right there by the hotel as well. The nightly rate was fantastic for the area.

Parking is valet (would rather self park) and they were backed up when we arrived but quickly got it all situated.

Employers were Super Awesome! Santavia on night shift gets 100 plus! An Asset on your Staff!!! Everyone greeted us with Smiles and a warm welcome

Little more variety with breakfast. Not a turkey eater. We had turkey sausage. And Add grits. Everyone doesnt eat oatmeal, but what I ate I enjoyed.
