The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for our event. The room was spacious enough for our family. We liked that they included turkey sausage for breakfast one day, but we recommend turkey or chicken sausage or bacon every day.

One day, the elevator made a loud noise, as if it weren't working, which was scary. There was only turkey for breakfast one day. There are people who are allergic to meat and pork. The seating area for breakfast was too small. I recommend opening one of the training rooms when a large group is staying at the hotel.

All was good until I got home and was charged $50 for unknown reason(s). Our room was left in a used respectable condition at regular checkout time. No extras. Trying to get a hold of customer service was a nightmare. After waiting some time, we just had to hang up and take care of other things in our life. Nothing said to us at checkout.

The staff and location was the best. The housekeeper was excellent.

We found a roach one night and the multiple calls received because our dogs were barking when hearing people, although it is a dog friendly hotel and their bark was only a few times and during day time, it was uncomfortable to be receiving multiple calls even after we advised we had medicated ghe dogs.

The room itself had fantastic natural lighting with many windows and felt plenty large for our family to spread out. The location is excellent as it is only minutes away from several large retailers, gas stations, restaurants, and freeway access. For any little thing we needed we could drive two minutes and have access to easy shopping. The area is also a well kept and safer feeling area of the south side of the city. Breakfast was a decent, standard continental breakfast with plenty of proteins, grains, and a pancake machine. The staff was all friendly and helpful. This is one of the cleaner hotels we have stayed in. Altogether we will likely stay here again the next time we are in San Antonio.

The one thing that was a little frustrating was the laundry room. There is one washer and one dryer which is not out of the ordinary, but the machines seemed to be in disrepair with some functions not working on the dryer, and they are fairly out of date as quarters are required to operate. Where we have a good size family and stayed several days, laundry is pretty important otherwise everything else was great.

Dim holding $50 and $50 out of my bank account to separatimes. And not telling me that they were going to do that. I don't believe in that I believe in if you mess up the room. Come up there and look if there's nothing wrong with it. Then you leave don't charge someone $50 and $50. And then tell him oh, it'll go back on your credit card. Some people don't have that. You might have charged somebody a late fee for. Making a bill paying it and didn't have the money in there. That's what I didn't like. So I'll probably never stay at a Holiday Inn again.

Staff was friendly. Facility was clean. Coffee was good. Plenty of channels on the TV, although, I wish they would print the channel guide a little larger. Usually, nice and quiet.

There were ONLY TWO USB ports in the entire room and NONE bedside! Access to the hotel from the main road, depending on what direction you are coming from, may require some creative driving, as there is no cross-over in the esplanade. While it is not impossible, it's just a pain, especially during periods of higher traffic.

Okay honestly the stay and the employees were amazing! I was really nervous after I had booked my reservation due to the reviews I was reading, but let me tell you this was by far the best Holiday Inn we have stayed at! Breakfast was great. Housekeeping came and cleaned our room every day! Of course if you have the sign on your door the wouldn’t but we took it off before we went on about are day. Thank you Holiday Inn for making our stay a great experience!

The hotel was in a great central location, the staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was above and beyond any other hotel breakfasts. The room was comfortable, clean and had full size bath toiletries. Highly recommended.

I love to stay at this location. Place is clean and comfortable. Rooms are comfortable and a good size. Cost to stay is fair and better then other locations.

It's a little difficult to get to the hotel based on the road layout.
