We rented this room for family members so we didn’t stay ourselves. The management was very nice and friendly. The area was convenient (close to Lackland about 1-2 miles away) and the room was clean, well maintained, and the hotel is fenced off well. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and nice. Based on value I would recommend it. Proximity to Lackland was close and convenient. I’m thankful for the good proximity and the staff. They really were nice and accommodating and for these reasons they deserve a thumbs up.

It is not located in the best area. But from driving through San Antonio they weren’t in the worst area either. Management does maintain their hotel very well. So I really don’t have any ‘didn’t likes’ about the hotel itself.

During my previous stays I've had a much better experience with the staff. The two gentlemen that have been there in the past were so pleasant friendly and talkative. They remembered us from our first stay and gave us our same room. We brought another couple with us that time and they were treated just as great as us. However this time there was a woman and she seemed quiet frustrated and pushy. Seems she may have been upset that we come into town late and checked in late. All in all not bad, we enjoy staying here as it is generally close to everything we come to town to enjoy. While it is in a sketchy area and there are homeless and nightwalkers as long as you mind your business everything is just fine.

For the price in 50's this facility was a pleasant surprise. It was very clean and spacious. The large refrigerator and cooking area came in handy. The fact that they had breakfast was a bonus at the price point. It was very basic cereal, milk, juice, muffins, and honey buns. I picked it because it was close to the air base and the national chains had lower reviews for cleanliness. I liked there was no carpet. I liked not worrying about what might be living in the carpet.

The coffee machine in the lobby didn't put out good coffee. The coffee maker in the room used coffee pods that looked to small for the coffee maker. I ended up boiling water and making one cup at a time with the coffee pods. When you first pull up and there aren't many cars you begin to question your choice but like I said just go inside it's nice unless you like carpet others have lived on.

The room was clean and spacious, kitchen was a surprise bonus with big refrigerator and appliances. Quiet area, when you enter the parking lot - there are no cars there and it seems suspicious, but I guess not many people are aware of this hidden budget gem in San Antonio, so it is kind of private, nice for the family

The bathroom was old and blow dryer did not work, just broken. Since it was first floor - had bugs visiting but it is normal situation for Texas.

Had my worries before coming due to some reviews but everything ended up being good. The room was spacious, clean and bug free! The cleaning lady was very nice and forthcoming. The location is far away from downtown SA, and it may appear a tad “sketchy”, but there are some nice restaurants, bakeries and shops in close proximity to the property. I took the local bus downtown very often and it felt like a usual bus drive in any city. Bus drive is ca 45 mins. And you do get a bit of a feel for what it actually looks like to live in SA, not just the touristy downtown.

Have to admit at first I was hesitant but once I got here I love that it was close to the base. I loved that it had a full kitchen, I was able to save and cook for the entire family. The fact that they have two bedroom rooms which was perfect for my children to visit with my son as well as affordable for me and my husband to have our very own room. I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to visit their loved ones in the airforce . I am definitely booking here anytime I come to San Antonio. It’s also one of the most family fit places out of all hotels I have stayed in.

No complaints perfect

Room is incredible value. Great for families as there is most kitchen essentials to include a stove. Rooms are large. Well lit parking area. Cleaning staff would lay my kids blankets down on bed during room service and even mopped the floors.

Bathroom could use some touch up. It almost looked like black mold in the bathroom ceiling in the shower area. Also, it's an exceptional value because the area around the hotel is awful. Owners make it safer with addition of LED lights everywhere. Parking lot is incredibly bright.

Quiet, large room and comfortable bed.

Check in was frustrating, employee seems overwhelmed with “registering me” in the system “I had prepaid” the entire process took about 22 mins. Being extremely tired from road travel this was very off putting. Employee had cell phone to his ear the entire time NEVER once explaining what the hold up was.

It smelled wonderful. The room was so clean and all the amenities they had for us was great. The kitchen was packed with the cookware, dishware, and cutlery. We didn't need to ask for anything. I was worried, because the surrounding area and it's noticeably an older building, they they've maintained it well. It was a diamond in the ruff. The pictures of the room look exactly how I saw it online. I was so nervous when I booked it, but when I walked in....I was in awe.

Continental breakfast, but that didn't really bother us because we used our kitchen and brought our food with us. I guess that I brought more things than necessary.... disposable cups, plates, etc (I've needed them in chain accomodations before). No really, there was nothing that I didn't like.

Staff was very friendly & check in was smooth. Room was clean and comfortable.

Parking was a little bit of a challenge & had to park a little far from my room then take the stairs with all of my luggage & belongings up the stairs then backtrack to get to my room. Other than that workout, it was great!
