The staff was very helpful. They blew up all my inflatables by hand. I told them I could do it but they insisted. I was very appreciative of that. As well as impressed they offered that. Cleaning staff was very nice.

My microwave was not clean and the second night no one cleaned our room.

There are only 3 towels for a couple. Storm hit and no elevator.. Had to use the stairs 4th floor. However, maintenance came to the rescue to help with luggage. Actually it's my favorite place to stay. I will always go back.

Great location, just a 5-minute walk to the beach. The hotel is exceptionally clean with excellent customer service. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, equipped with a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. We enjoyed a good view of the ocean from our room. The hotel also provides a good breakfast with a decent selection of food. Guests have access to a BBQ area while using the pool. This hotel is ideal for beachgoers and those who enjoy visiting local restaurants and exploring the area. It is also within walking distance to Turtle Inc and the Birding Center. Overall, a great hotel to stay at.

The hotel has only one operational elevator, resulting in extended wait times for guests. Additionally, the elevator is quite small, barely accommodating luggage carts. The WiFi service is unreliable, necessitating the use of personal hotspots for those needing to work. Furthermore, the breakfast area offers limited seating, often requiring guests to share tables or struggle to find a place to sit.

Holiday Inn Express has been my go-to brand for a while now. I find that they are consistent in their standards no matter what state you are at. This was my first stay at South Padre Island. This hotel was also very clean. The gentleman who checked me in was very nice and welcoming. It's reasonably priced. The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I drove a while, so a good night sleep was needed. The breakfast was very good. Nice selection. They had omelets(my favorite), sausage, cereal,oatmeal, yogurt, toast fruit, muffins , etc. Coffee, juices as well. The bathroom was very clean, well stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and body cream. I like that they use the large size bottles, not the tiny ones like other places.Although it's not on the beach, it's exactly 4.11 min walk from the Beach Access exit at the back of the hotel. It's very quiet. Close to all. Very nice area. I will definitely return.

The proximity to the beach area, very close to walk. Breakfast was great with eggs, sausage, pancakes, and various breads. Toast, bagels, biscuits and a toaster. Plenty of jelly, honey and syrup too with butter and cream cheese. Nice assortment of dry cereals and hot oatmeal. The beds were so comfortable and the linens soft. Also a very good refrigerator and freezer in the room. Actually kept our plastic water bottles frozen. The microwave was nice, didn't have to use it. The T.V was a nice size and worked well.

Our Air conditioning was a bit noisy. But we got use to it on the first floor. Hated to hear doors slamming, but I guess that is on guest. Would stay there again for sure.

Everything about this hotel was great! The room we stayed in was huge! The breakfast was good & the staff was very friendly. The beach is about a 5 minute walk but wasn’t an issue for us. Would definitely stay here again.

I think they should monitor who comes onto the property a little bit more. We met a family at the hotel pool who were staying at the condos behind the hotel. Then we saw them the next morning at the hotel’s breakfast. They would come over for the breakfast & the pool which would explain why the pool & breakfast was always so crowded because I’m assuming they weren’t the only ones doing this.

Easy to get to public access to the beach using back sidewalk. Nice pool. Good breakfast. I arrived very late due to travel issues and was able to check in without trouble. Parking availability at hotel was good.

I believe I paid for a pool/water sight room. I received a ground floor room that looked out at the pool bar. They were unable to move me. This was not a good room (view) for the price. There was a big party at the pool my second night which was okay, but it certainly eliminated my ability to enjoy the pool space that evening.

The room was super clean. huge showers, they had Dove bath products. The beds were extra comfy. Extra pillows were available. We had a great view! There were signs about what you could do on the beach, where to go with some of the local restaurants. The pool was super big and clean as well. there was a private path to the beach for easy access. the breakfast was a huge spread of egg omelettes, sausage links and hot coffee .

The breakfast was decent; Provided the basics. I was impressed by the pancake machine! The location was ideal for our county beach access. I loved the spacious pool!! Staff was very friendly and helpful!! Derrick was amazing and very sweet!!

Everything was good. Only thing I can think of was the elevator would make a weird noise and it was hot but everything else was really nice!!

The customer service could use some improvement. The front desk and breakfast staff were not as welcoming as expected, which impacted the overall experience. Additionally, the shower in the room was in need of repair, with barely any water coming out.
