My friend and I have stayed here for years and have been very satisfied. Everything was clean and the staff accommodating. My friend comes from California, I live in Washington, adjacent to St George, Utah. We do a flyfishing trip to the area yearly. I come to Panguitch occasionally and prefer to stay at Color Country. Note: One main reason why we don't stay at other motels in Panguitch is the toilets are small, "Low Boy" or "Childlike" style which are awful for adults.

The manager put me in a room with no room above me as I asked him to. Although it was an older property in need of remodeling, it was clean and everything worked well. There was good cable TV service and strong wifi. It was quiet and I slept well. It was fairly priced too. It was perfect for an overnight stay.

There were not enough electrical or usb outlets. Fortunately I had an extension cord with me for my CPAP machine. It barely reached the nearest outlet and I had to step over it all night. The lighting was just ok and could be improved.

The family who owns the motel are friendly and helpful! Raj , the son, is just an amazing young man. The rooms were clean with nice, homey appointments, like embroidered bathroom curtains, southwestern prints and cute light switch covers. The fridge and microwaves were useful for us. Beds were comfortable. Close to Bryce Canyon and the town itself had character.

My only quibble is the beds were actually doubles and not queens, which makes a difference if your partner and you are used to a queen.

Everything about this day was perfect. The staff lady was wonderfully friendly. She even tried to help us extend our stay the next day, even though it was completely full due to a mountain biking event that was happening nearby. We weren’t aware of. It was just a terrific terrific stay and our kids had a great time (ages 5-12)

A wee bit cheaper for what you get.

Actually, when we got to the Color Country Motel, the last room had been taken but the very friendly manager said she had made arrangements with the LampLighter Lodge across the street (that they own as well) and had a room for us there. It was like a cabin lodge room with a kitchenette, eating area, full size refrigerator and microwave. We were beyond pleased with our stay!

We usually like to stay at a motel with a breakfast option would be all I could think of.

Clean, small room, perfect for one person or a couple looking for value. Great price! No noise from other rooms. Friendly staff. Efficient check-in. Conveniently located for my visit to Bryce Canyon NP.

My food froze in the small fridge, but I hadn't checked the temperature control. Everything else was fine.

I have loved the color country motel for years!! Everything's great. A little bit on the far end of town but worth the walk. Will be back

It's an older motel but my only complaint was needing more outlets sonce everything these days needs a charger lol

Room was clean, linens were in good order and the television worked very well. We were given a room with two beds without any hesitation. The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating including giving us some extra time for check out.

The air conditioner was noisy and so we were not able to keep it running throughout the night, but this did not impose an extraordinary problem for us.

Location is excellent. Family run business.

Hotel is definetely dated and theres room for improvements. Which I'm sure this family running the place is slowly working on.

Good location and attendant where approachable and easy to talk to/with.

Floors creak on the second floor. Not really a negative or a dislike as the building is old. More like a warning for light sleepers
