To be completely honest, Super 8 tends to get a certain stigma. I am one of those who generally stays away from Super 8. But on a recent trip, it was the closest motel we could get to, and this location had good reviews . Boy, were they right this location was great. It was clean, the staff was really friendly, the bed was super soft, and it was easy to get to off the highway. I dont normally give a 10 out of 10 for reviews because everything has room to improve, but this Super 8 was very close.

We stay here all the time for youth baseball tourneys in the area & the front desk lady is the best! They are family friendly vs some hotels in Richfield that try to make you buy 2 rooms for having 3 kids. They keep their rates affordable and clean rooms. Best customer service that’s hard to find these days! I know a lot of families from our small town appreciate the Salina Super 8!

Our family suite as HUGE. I’ve never been in a motel with this much space. The beds were comfortable and we had easy access to our car. The price for the space and 5 people was unbeatable!

The lighting in the rooms was the only thing that needed improvement. It was hard to get the middle space bright enough with only 2 side lamps.

This Super 8 does a nice job I feel. If you are looking for a decent place to stay to get some rest, that doesn't cost a lot this was a pretty solid bet for us. It was comfortable, quiet, nice staff, had what we needed and a little fuel for the morning.

For the price range I think they did good. Nothing I would recommend. Satisfied.

Clean large room, comfortable bed.

Booked a room with a kitchen but there were no utensils, pans or anything at all to use for food preparation or eating. Built in table/shelf but not movable or any chairs. Basically a waste, luckily we had sandwich supplies or we would have had to go out to find a restaurant to feed the family.

Looked like a classic Super 8, however, the rooms are recently renovated and absolutely amazing.

We got a very late start in the morning and I was surprised breakfast was finished by 9 AM. So we liked everything about our stay, but since I didn’t get to try the breakfast, I don’t have an opinion on it.

The room was ordinary and clean. We booked a kitchenette and were pleased with the full sized fridge, stove with oven, and microwave. Breakfast included waffles, cereal, toastable items and fruit. The staff seems stable (recognizable from a year ago) and that speaks well for the smooth running of this hotel.

Ordinary but well priced, a/c heating unit a little noisy.

The desk clerk was very helpful and pleasant to work with. She made sure I was comfortable getting to my room with my dogs. The room was roomy and convenient.

I was put in an adjoining room. The neighbors in the adjoining room were not pleasant and slammed around at 6 AM and banged into my car while they were packing the next morning.

Convenient location right outside I70, room was comfortable and bathroom shower was great

The breakfast room is very small, has only 3 tables and it’s not enough for how big the hotel is. Plus, how about some eggs for breakfast instead of just bread and jam…

Our room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. Clean towels. Breakfast was limited but whatever was there was good to my liking.

Breakfast could have been better. Coffee could need another scoop of coffee grind. A little light to my tasting.
