Location was excellent for walking around town. Special kudos to Valerie at the front desk, who always greeted us, upon our comings and goings with a warm smile and friendly words. She also greeted us with the words ‘Welcome Home’ which always added an additional touch of warmth, rather than the more common Welcome Back.’ We hope Valerie will receive acknowledgment for her dedicated service.

Everything! The location, staff was excellent - each person met was friendly. They always were accommodating, smiling, knowledgeable about the area and just plain pleasant!! With many restaurant options.

I did not care for the fact we were charged to park each day in Capitol parking lot. Isn't it up to the establishment to allow parking for their customers? But then again, you did you just charged for it....perhaps it was more secure. No problem, as it was a mere 12.00 per day....it just seems that it should have been included. Also, hot water should be available 24/7 for tea drinkers.

Very central location in a very walkable city. Excellent king room on the 4th floor. Parking is easy, and the price is reasonable considering the other options around town. Staff is exceptionally helpful and professional. Would definitely stay again.

They need to get their elevator fixed.

The location was great, in the middle of the city, next to the State House and Main Street. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well decorated. We also enjoyed the large free parking behind the hotel. The lady at the reception was really nice and welcoming.

It was beautiful! Very good location and easy to spot. The staff was amazing. The room was big and wonderful! The floor in the bathroom was heated!!! What a LUXURY! Everything was so clean. The absolutely best part for me though……was the gift shop! THANK YOU SO MUCH for having that gift shop!

There wasn’t clear cut instructions for where the guests were supposed to park, or at least I didn’t see any. The sweet lady checking me in had to tell me what to do. I wish the breakfast had been better. It wasn’t complimentary and the choices were a little lackluster. But……it was convenient and we took advantage of it.

The hotel has definitely seen some improvements since my last stay. The decor in the room was tasteful, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was quite pleasant. The room was well-designed for a good night's sleep.

Breakfast could have been included in the price of the room. Parking was available behind the hotel but cost extra.

The room was actually more comfortable than expected. It turned out to suit our visit and travel plans very nicely.

For the price we paid, I believe breakfast should have been included. I've noticed higher priced hotels don't, for some reason, include breakfast whereas the more reasonably priced hotels do. That was a down-side. We did get breakfast on one day, but frankly the quality was not the best. If La Quinta can do it, so can Hilton.

Excellent location, nice restaurant, exceptional clerk at check in…she was very friendly & helpful which really made our stay pleasant.

The light above the shower was out. Not a big deal but needs to be replaced.

Only one small elevator in service. Nice that there is onsite parking, but it’s a long walk from the rear entrance to the front desk.

The elevator was broken for the entirety of our stay even though we were told it would be fixed soon. There aren’t many floors but sucks if you aren’t able bodied.
