Location is great. The set up in the lobby is unique. The innkeeper works hard to make sure your needs are met. It was not staffed with a person that we saw. All communication was by text. Texts were quickly answered. It is a rustic cabin, but very clean with all the things that you need. It was a one-night stop on 9-day vacation. I can imagine that it would be fun with a group and using the outdoor firepits.

The texts about security and surveillance were a little unnerving. I was afraid of the actual location of the lodge based on the texts.

The staff (Dana, RJ and lovely housekeeper I forgot her name) all were wonderful, helpful and made us feel right at home. We booked last minute because our campervan broke down several miles down the road. Everyone was so wonderful which helped tremendously while we were trying to deal with broken van. We cant thank the staff enough!!!!! This hotel is situated right on scenic VT rt 100 it has beautiful large back yard with multiple fire places and grills situated on river bank. We will definitely be back some day 👍🙏😜🚐.

Fantastic location, right on the river, next to the mountains and slopes, quite yet with enough restaurants in the vicinity. Jenny was WONDERFUL and one of the main reasons why we will remember this trip so fondly.

Vermont is expensive - but that's on Vermont, not the hotel per se. Otherwise - what's not to like?! Will definitely come back next summer.

Property set on a pretty piece of land with fire pits, chairs and lights to sit out and enjoy the evening. Trails for walking and exploring were great and a lovely creek.

Rooms had more of a cabin feel to them. No irons and bathrooms were small.

Heating was comfortable; Bathroom was stocked adequately with soaps and towels; Cable television was user friendly; Electronic room key enabled not having to carry extra keys.

Easy access to room from parking lot. Easy self check in. right at foot of Sugarbush access road.

Walls and adjoining doors kind of paper thin with noisy neighbors. Could use a microwave to go along with little fridge. Could use a large fridge/freezer than just the little cube.

Beds comfortable, room temperature comfortable, good shower, convenient location, easy check-in, got extra towels when needed, has everything you need to cook there

How about a hit tub!

Check in was quick and easy, room was very clean and modern. Wish I had time to use one of the fire pits next to the river.

Everything!! From the owner Dana to the outdoor fire pits, this place was a gem. While it is one route 100, my girlfriend and I had a quiet stay. Room and bed were super cozy and only 10 minutes from both Sugarbush and downtown Warren and Waitsfield, couldn't have picked a better spot.

Not a bad thing to say about this place.
