Great location, very adequate rooms that met our needs. Price point was very good through Booking.com. The Beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were fine although there was standing water in the tub during showering due to a plugged drain. The rooms do have a refrigerator and microwave. There is a large indoor swimming pool and Sauna that is for use and they are quite nice...Have been staying at this Motel for the past 30 years but with a 12 year break since the last visit. The Motel was originally a "Howard Johnsons" and then a "Red Roof", now it is under the Wyndham Brand. The Motel is now under new private ownership and they are working to renovate each room and it is going well. However, it is not quite up to the better standards as it was 30 years ago (the Building needs a lot of outside and inside detail work still due to age) but good to see that they are putting new life into it and that the property hasn't closed.

The new LED type lighting fixtures in the rooms don't provide enough light. Even with all lights illuminated there is still a sense of considerable darkness within the room. This lighting issue is also within the hallways...Dark. The Free Breakfast offered was VERY minimal but not a big issue for us since we didn't utilize it.

The room was totally re-done with bare floors and tiles. The bed was very comfortable and everything was super clean. The room heat/AC unit was loud, but we just turned it off. The staff was super nice and they told us they were re-doing the whole building. They haven't gotten to the outside yet or the hall carpets, but the newly done room met our needs and smelled clean and fresh. This owner is trying to improve things and doing a great job so far. It was also very quiet at night even though the place was full.

There is some construction debris around the entrance in the back, but that is because they are working.

Breakfast is very simple. there is no cooking, like scramble egg or sausage, at all. Waffle machine is down and the staff dose not seem know how to fix it. But, TV programs are really good and it covers almost all the major channels. Front desk staff, especially an lady, are very professional and caring.

They were good about getting us two additional pillows. I checked out at 4am and there was someone available immediately. great place just for the overnight stay. they seem to be doing renovations or something as there was a lot of equipment outside.

could have been cleaner, wasn't any frills. but it is what you would expect from a place like this and I appreciate them being there.

room was nice, bed was comfortable, fridge and microwave in room worked fine. the bathroom is small but everything in it worked correctly. good pressure for shower. breakfast is very basic. coffee, juice, yogurt, waffle maker, bread for toast and only one fruit option.

Our room was newly renovated, so everything worked and was very clean. I appreciate the pet friendly policy, even if the pet fee seemed a bit excessive.

The breakfast area was, as most are, way too small and crammed together for the number of people staying at the hotel.

It was under remodeling. And the location to get in the parking was tough, being on a main 4 lane route. Only complaint about the room there wasn't enough lighting in the room or outlets to charge or devices.

The breakfast was just about all carbs. There was work being done at the location I was not aware of when booking.

Property has recently undergone renovations. Rooms are updated and clean. Close enough to Killington mountain without breaking the bank.

The shower water did not get hot. We stayed for two days and both days the water was lukewarm.

Spacious room, very clean, nice and warm in the room. Plenty of hot water during my shower. Quiet room. Will definitely stay here again. Price was approximately $30 cheaper than any other room in Rutland that I could find.
