We had an amazing stay. We were in town because my uncle unexpectedly passed away. Everything was so clean and all the staff were so nice. The breakfast was so good! Honestly I wasn't expecting much because we had went down 15 minutes before it ended, but I was surprised because it looked like it had just started. I was so happy. Thank you!

The only thing we wasn't happy with was that the pool was cold.

The room was very large, and the bed was super comfortable. The front desk staff were very pleasant.

We booked this hotel because of the indoor pool. However, it was closed. When I asked about it, I was told it was being worked on that day and would hopefully be open later in the day. I never saw anyone working on it, and it didn't open during our 2 day stay.

Breakfast was average for this chain of hotels. Was what we expected, nothing more. Bed was comfortable & room size good. Air conditioning was adequate but noisy as most are. The room seemed somewhat humid/damp air, which was not great. Location was convenient to Interstate. Very quiet..lots of horse people as expected close to the Horse Center & a big show going on. The place felt very safe & our check in person, a young man, was especially personable. We would stay here again.

We always stay at the Comfort Inn Virginia Horse Center when we travel through Va on I81. The location is easy to find and quiet. We usually drive to downtown Lexington to walk about and then go to the Devil Backbone Brewpub a short drive for dinner. The breakfast is fine for travelers like us who need a quick bite to eat before we hit the road again the next morning.

The big room and the amenities used were nice. Breakfast was very good. Loved having 24-7 coffee,tea, and lemon water.

We could notice that most of the hotel had been renovated or partially renovated. However, my shower drain didn't drain very well, and my shower head didn't work as well as it could.

The breakfast was awesome as many choices were available and staff was nearby to assist with any questions and or needs. The bed was super comfortable and the room and facility pretty clean.

The shower drain was very slow in draining and the front desk staff was notified by me in person.

Love that they are dog-friendly. Customer service was great. We left behind one of our dog's chew toys and they found it, called promptly and gave me info about how to have it shipped home. We were so relieved to get the toy back (dog's fave) so easily.

Definitely an older property. It was clean enough, but not spotless. But, we are not complaining! We were also in a dog room, so that could have affected the cleanliness.

Good variety of foods . The pool was open all day and evening. We appreciated the lemon water and tea and coffee in the lobby. Side door access from outside. Very comfortable beds!

Placement of food on the counters could have been better for ease of selecting. There were too many tables and chairs in that room making it hard to even take a look at what was available. Hall corridor could use more lights,

The hotel and room were very clean and the AC was on when we entered the room. I do not like walking into a hot room so I appreciated this.

Although there were many good food options, the breakfast room was very small and crowded.

Location was great as it was close to VMI and we were bringing our son to school. It was also pet friendly, which is what we needed. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It seemed to be pretty clean.

The beds were too small for two people to sleep comfortably. The room also seemed damp, the floors and even the beds. We finally lowered the a/c considerably and it helped a bit. Also it was hard to stop the back entrance door from shutting very loudly and as our room was located near it, it would wake us.
