I liked that the next day, the check out lady said we would be able to stay longer if necessary, until 1:00 p.m. if necessary without charge as there was a dangerous storm moving over Virginia that morning. We actually left at 10:30 ish, so did not take advantage, but we were happy there was the option for safety.

The property is conveniently located off the highway, but it was amazingly quiet. The receptionist was welcoming and efficient. The facilities were clean and the bed quite comfortable. My spouse and I were pleasantly surprised.

We were happy to have the breakfast and it offered a variety of selections. I would recommend a couple more items, such as plain yogurt for those who cannot have sugar - and not, sugar-free choices, as such products usually have chemical sweeteners.

breakfast was available for longer than most places (until 10am) and was fully stocked the whole time. Those waffles were great! The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The AC/Heater was hard to get right. It blew too hard the whole time, and it was hard to adjust the temperature to meet our needs. It would be nice if it had a gentler setting.

Pool was cooler with a pre-shower at the pool areal.Hot tub very nice and clear water. Good breakfast. Tasty coffee available 24/7. Snacks and fruit in lobby. Staff very helpful and friendly. Clean, spacious rooms, fresh scented with lovely decor in lobby and rooms. Locking exterior doors open with cards that worked every time they were used. Plenty of parking and clean lot. Nice landscaping. Location is great with stores, restaurants, and local attractions.. I will stay here again when in the area to visit family.

Beautiful views but our room just had trees blocking any view and a backhoe. Not really a big deal just an observation. Our room was across from laundry so at 8 AM we heard bags being shook open, dryers and washers going, and employee discussing workday. But note we did ask for 1st floor, near pool and that room accomplished those requests. Beds were just good, not great ss far as comfort. Pillows were all 4 too soft for my liking. Regardless of the things that we did not like, the value was there and the disadvantages did not outweigh the advantages.

Achild spilled dry cereal on the ebtry mat and it wasn't cleaned up quickly so I requested a broom and dust pant and cleaned it up.

The hotel was great. The staff was great apart from the person who messed up my vacation money. Room was great

I was charged on my card after paying cash. Causing my account to go negative and making it so I didn’t have my vacation money during my vacation.

It was a pleasure to walk into the lobby. It looked and smelled clean. I was assisted right away. In my room the sheets were a crisp white. The bed was very comfortable and loved the big fluffed pillows. Fresh coffee available in the lobby. Enjoyed my quiet stay.

Room was large, clean, and comfortable; the location was perfect right off the highway; the staff were friendly and helpful; a WalMart and plenty of takeout options right up the road. Will definitely return!

It was very comfortable and all of the staff was wonderful.

I did not bring a pet this time, but I would not go there if I was traveling with my dog as there are really no grassy areas to walk her.

Elise who checked us in the first nite saw that several rooms were booked for members of our family. She placed us all in rooms adjacent to one another which also had a small balcony reception area in front of our rooms. This made it very comfortable to relax and talk as a group or share a celebratory snack. We couldn't have asked for better accomadations. The friendly and welcoming first impression made the entire stay memorable. Our Granddaughters graduation from Washington and Lee will be remembered as a great family gathering enhanced by our accomadations
