Front desk was friendly, efficient. Breakfast had many good choices of food. Quality food.. Clean and was replenished quickly.Room clean and comfortable. Beds firm. Bed linens clean and white. Didn’t look faded and old. Shower was strong and hot. Lobby had everything you might be missing plus good snacks. Free coffee available. Some free chocolate chip cookies near coffee would be nice. I’ve had that in other hotels.Also, parking was convenient.

I could hear the woman in the next room talking on her phone for more than an hour. Annoying! Rooms could have better soundproofing.

Breakfast was good for this category of hotel. The biggest bonus was the great staff that made the stay really worthwhile. The room as well as the bathroom were very clean. Definitely recommended if you are traveling on a budget. The price-value was excellent.

The shower was leaking a tad. And the mattress certainly could use an update. And the room adjacent to mine was crowded with a very chatty family, however they went to bed early so that it was only partly annoying.

Right in the door, you are hit with this amazing clean smell and the front desk clerk , Alec was very friendly and helpful. I even received a text after settling into my room, checking to make sure everything met my expectations 🙃 🙂 I definitely will be staying there when I am in the area again!

Nothing at all that you can say bad. Even there breakfast and coffee was good!

I liked the location, the cleanliness, the breakfast and service we received. I also liked the laundry room hours as well as the indoor pool hours. Impressed with the “pay range” used for the washer and dryer. It is easy to manage and to get your refund back, plus the notifications when the cycles were done were a gem.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. It's easy to get to off the highway. Also, though we didn't use it, there was a free shuttle service available for guests to get to places within a reasonable distance of the hotel.

I wish we were warned they are currently renovating. While the price wasn't the most expensive, I felt like it should have been reflective of the fact that a lot of the hotel is in disarray. I'm in a walking boot due to an injury, and an environment like this could have made things very hazardous for me. I can only imagine if there's a guest in a wheelchair or using some other kind of apparatus to help them walk or get around. It's not the safest with that plastic over the carpet.

Room was very clean and comfortable as well as the bathroom was spotless and very large. Quiet AC system, bed comfortable along with all amenities

Just some loud trucks delivering in the early morning but wise great. We travel often to this area due to child in college and would love to stay again but your room prices keep increasing wehen we look to book future dates😟

All was great! Glad you had the hardboiled eggs! The only comment is the smell of mold in the hallway on the third floor. In your area I am sure that is hard to keep up with and my nose is super sensitive to pick this up due to my mold allergy.

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times during our children's years at Christopher Newport University. We were in town for our daughter's graduation. The hotel is in a good location and is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. I would like to give kudos especially to front desk attendant, Duane. He is just a joy and makes you smile!! When we checked in, I remembered him from our last stay at the hotel. I left a favorite new dress at the hotel, and when I called back, he answered the phone and took care of everything. I received my dress just a couple days after. He had gift wrapped it and wrote a nice note that accompanied it. It was so very much appreciated.

It was close to home, decently priced especially for a holiday weekend, very clean, and the front desk clerks were very friendly.

The coffee maker would not work but it was a minor inconvenience so I was still happy with my stay.

The location is perfect. Right next to the hotel there's "2nd Street" restaurant, very fancy with nice ambience, service and meal. Gas station. Bank. Shopping area. The hotel stuff is amazing! Dwayne was very helpful and is a nice person! He helped us with the check in and late check out, we have got a quiet room as requested. He recommended us a good sea food restaurant as well! The kitchen guy is very nice and helpful! Breakfast was good. Not much variety, but everything was tasty. Generally, you pay reasonable price for great location and service.
