The location was excellent although a bit tricky to get into due to the traffic patterns. It was quiet, clean, and adequate for our needs. Parking was readily available and the place was popular for those needing housing for more than just a couple of days. It also had a large modern laundry available which we used.

No breakfast was provided, which is somewhat unusual for this type of property, but was not a big issue nor was it unexpected. The front entrance door was heavy and banged very loudly every time it slammed closed. I pity the poor desk personnel having to put up with it all... day... long. We only stayed a couple of days because the shower's hot water was only luke warm.

The security and ease of parking and unloading. Everything was clean, bed was comfy, great shower! The little kitchenette was just right for a short stay. Every time that we came in and out, someone was cleaning. The elevator area stayed mopped and smelled so good. Didn’t use it, but I did notice a small gym area near the rear entrance that someone was also keeping clean. There are plenty of food options nearby and a Walmart just across the highway. Shares a lot with a drugstore, believe it was a CVS. Very convenient if you need to grab something quickly without even needing to crank your vehicle. ( only the hotel and the cvs on the lot- not like a busy shopping strip or anything like that) Not only do I have a pet, but I am a smoker. There was plenty of space to get away from the door to walk the pup while I smoked and it not be offensive to anyone else. We have a soft top bronco and I never once felt worried about anyone cutting the top like I have in some other travel areas. It was a plus that we could see our vehicle directly from our room. There were plenty of other pets there, but mostly like minded owners being responsible with their pets, cleaning behind them and keeping appropriate distance with pet when needed.

No blow dryer, but I had already read this in the reviews and brought my own. I really think this should be basic in any modern day accommodation. I agree about the pillows not being the best Again, because of previous reviews, I brought my own and was fine. I saw other people complaining about the beds, but both beds in our room were comfy and no squeaking, etc like others had complained of. Slept like a baby every night.

We like the location and staffs. The room is nice , i like that i can cook in the kitchen and have big enough refrigerator. And it is nearby to everything! Nearby to the places that we want to visits. And staffs are nice.

We dont like that the floor is so dirty. It looks clean but if ypu have no shoes ypu cannot walk barefoot and even with socks. My daughters socks are looking so dirty every time. She needs to change her socks a lot of times in a day. The room can upgrade to have a table that 4 people can set to eat. And should have a sofa for a family to seat. As we stayed for 4 nights it would be nice to enjoy setting in a comfortable sofa. And also people upstairs are so noicy foot 😆. But we understood for having kids. But staffs should aware the people with kids avoid too much jumping or running for people down floors. If we will be back next time we would like to be in the 3rd floor. 😊

We stayed for a week, the room was clean, even had a dish washer. The place was full every night. It was a little hard to find because the direction take you to WAWA. The building is behind wawa. It was very clean and the ladies that worked there was very kind. The young lady that took care of us was very young and kind. we were looking for places to eat and she took the time to help us. It was very quiet at night other then hearing the bak door slam close , but we were also in room 122 right by the door. We will be back again.

The tv did not have much to watch, need to have more channels or have Roku so if you have an account you can log in and delete you account when you leave. Most of the channels were for kids or channels that no one would watch other then sports. 3 out of the 7 days they had no coffie made. ;-(

I loved how clean and quiet the hotel was . Most importantly was how friendly the staff was while visiting . I only visited for one night but from the moment I walked in I knew I’d be back for my next trip . Definitely one of the softest beds I’ve slept in while staying in a hotel . I requested to be checked in early if possible because I was attending a festival they were more than accommodating. The staff again was very hospitable and seemed to really enjoy their job which was very refreshing while vacationing.

The only thing I didn’t like was the website said check out was 12pm which was a major plus when booking , however housekeeping came around 11 seeing if I was checking out . I stated my issue and they were more than happy to accommodate so not really a dislike to a full .

Good location, central between Williamsburg and Hampton areas. The place is practically brand new so I have no complaints about the facility whatsoever. The staff I interacted with were pleasant. My room was spacious and the cleanliness exceeded my expectations. Im a travel nurse so the laundry on the premises and kitchenette were great. Walmart is right around the corner. VA Beach is less than 45 minutes away. I could go on and on.

I like the secure feeling. The doors staying locked at all times, therefore, no random people that aren't staying here can run in & out of the building or lobby area's.

I didn't like the per night rates. I didn't like that the guests have to take out your own trash!!! The power went out on Saturday evening for at least 4 hours without no accommodations or guest offers such as a $15% refund? Or a discounted price on a future stay. Also...they should definitely offer a Continental Breakfast???

If anyone’s visiting Yorktown, Virginia Newport News area I would stay at Woodsong suites. They are very friendly. The property is very clean. It has a very good location. Close to everything.

At hotels I’ve ever stayed at prior. They would tell you what days to place your trash outside your door for collection. It was not the guest responsibility to remove the trash.

I had issues with the noise above me. I took the matter to the front desk And she advised me to let her know of I still have the problem…. Of course it still went on sound like they were rearranging the whole room around Ms Arhonda came to my room And said she would take care of it after she heard the noise herself and It was quiet as a mouse after that. Thanks front desk for handling my concerns.

I'm here for work. I love the fact that it is in an area where I can take care of all of my needs. I really appreciate the fact that there is an on-site laundry facility. These rooms are comfortable, fairly quiet, and clean. The ladies up at the front desk are very polite and helpful. This is my second time here, and I will come back with no questions asked.
