The Front Staff is legitimately one of the best I have encountered in a good while. The entire ground staff was pleasant and greeting you by name every time you entered the hotel. Travelers, you know the value this holds, check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Unfortunately, there is this part as well. My room was not made as scheduled and i had to request towels, water and coffee.

The location is very good to easily find a place to grab a bite or have a drink. Dry historic area. We arrived after a 9 hour car trip from Jax Beach and we were quickly registered. The bed and shower were good and the AC after maintenance came to check why it was not cool in our room was good also. We were greeted at the valet station by Yoshua who was engaging, helpful and efficient. As we left we had the extreme pleasure to deal with Cliff to check out our car. He not only helped us with leaving, but we talked about the historic value of the area and gave us some history facts that were very interesting,

Unfortunately because of the area parking is only Valet and a bit high but that is the city. The bar area was nice but WOW, I had a Sauvignon blanc - the only one they had and it was $15 for 6 ounces. Considering you are sitting in the middle of a lobby bar at a Marriott Courtyard, give me a break. The bottle wouldn’t cost as much at the wine store. That was a rip off downtown or not.

I have a hard time believing that I was sleeping in a king sized bed? There were three of us traveling and we had a king size room with a pullout sofa. The pullout sofa was not comfortable even remotely. I have to be honest. And I have a hard time believing that the bed we were sleeping and was a king size. And the only reason I say that is because I was sharing it with a friend. Not my husband.

Food was very good. Nice amount of seating.

We booked through Booking.com and our room included breakfast. We were there for 4 nights and were charged for breakfast two of the four mornings. Breakfast had to be ordered and served. We would have preferred a simpler breakfast buffet so we could have gotten food quicker.

The staff was very friendly. The valet, Cliff, was outstanding in customer service skills and very helpful when I asked for directions to places. On one of the days, it was raining, and I wanted to walk down the street to a restaurant. He lent me his umbrella. I was touched by such a nice, genuine gesture.

We purchased 2 waters 1 soda 1 pack of crackers and 1 small bag of chips and the lady added to my card and when I checked my bank statement I was charged 41.00 for 6.00 worth of snacks. I don't like to be ripped off and that one little issue will stop me from ever staying with courtyard again.

even though it lists parking - actual hotel parking is at additional cost and its valet only. that was not clear in the listing.

The hotel was great.

My car was broken into at the garage that was recommended. Because I booked through booking.com there was nothing the hotel could/would do. Meanwhile, others who also had their cars broken into were comped because they booked directly through Marriot.

Location was good. I'm glad that we did not use valet parking for $32 because we parked in the same garage used by the valet and the gates were up when we left in the morning, so we effectively received free parking.

Expensive. Tried to book into another location, but it was full.

I loved the location. It was exactly what we wanted to be able to walk around the city for meals and our main excursion, going to the convention center.

A menu in the room listing the food options would have been helpful. We didn’t eat at the hotel, mainly because we didn’t know what was available and don’t really want to take the time to figure it out when we got downstairs. At that point, we were too hungry and just went out to find something to eat.
