It was our first time staying in a room that could accommodate our dog. It was clean and had a back door that opened to a grassy courtyard. We were impressed. Definitely no pet smell in the room. Very clean. We also love that it is family owned and not a big chain hotel. We felt good supporting it.

Breakfast was continental, which in this case meant Costco kinds of packaged items. But they were clear about that from the beginning, so it's what we expected when we reserved our room. Fortunately there's a very good grocery store just minutes away, Haggen's, where we could buy just what we wanted for breakfast.

Stayed here a few times. Very good value. Competent and polite staff, clean room with a fridge and coffee maker. Very close to the I-5 freeway. Easy walking distance from a grocery store, Starbucks, and some restaurants. Exterior will fool you on your first visit. It is pleasant once you’re inside, and there is a nice courtyard to relax in if you have the chance. Continental breakfast is appropriate for the price. Nothing fancy, but the dining room is nice and the selection of food is acceptable.

Getting into he parking lot can be awkward if you’re not used to it, and getting back to the freeway requires some maneuvering; must take a right turn and either go around the block or doing a U-turn at an intersection. I found it to be only a minor annoyance.

The gal that checked us in was amazing and sweet. She was also the one that checked us out. She was there in the evening. The lady that was there in the morning wasn't very friendly at all. Room was nice love the courtyard

I would like to see a better breakfast. Then what they had there was no bowls to have for cereal or anything like that. The orange juice ran out and no one was there to refill it. I would like to see some scrambled eggs and sausage. Some of us start on a strict diet early allowed to have certain things. We drove 12 hours To get to the motel. The people next to us kept yelling at their dog to shuffle, which was barking all night long. So it was hard to get sleep. They should've told us about the deposit. When I looked at my bank card and saw that there was at the posit. I was in shock. That took away from my spending. Also, my card was charged a different amount than what I was told when we checked in. The Air conditioner was not working very well at all. Our room was hot and stuffy.

Room was clean and spacious enough for 3 nights. Great water pressure and hot water in shower! Staff very helpful and nice. Breakfast was varied and plentiful.

Room was much too heavily deodorized. I’m very sensitive to this so it really bothered my sinuses. The overstuffed recliner was just not something I really wanted to sit on. All needs to be redone - get rid of that recliner and carpet to make more sanitary.

This is an excellent place to stay if travelling with a dog. Rooms can directly access a large enclosed garden area. Staff was very friendly Starbucks, restaurants and grocery store nearby

Our room was on the main road which was noisy at times. Could also hear the trains regularly.

The owner was very friendly and accomadating. Breakfast had a fun selection of foods that served our needs of snack food. Owner supports local business and her community. Family room allowed for good visiting space and room to dry out some of our gear.

The one employee who checked us in was somewhat unhelpful in answering our questions about the area.

Looks can be deceiving. Based on the location, I expected to hear a lot of traffic noise, but there was very little to none. The room was comfortable and it opens up to the back yard, which is large.

Great friendly staff Decent size rooms with microwave, fridgefreezer(with separate door for the freezer) Breakfast was very basic but decent, but all packaged food. (Waffle, rolls, fruit pots, yoghurt, muffins, oranges, porridge). Convenient for North Cascades the next morning

Shower temp kept changing suddenly. Surprising not to see bread/jam at breakfast

I’ve stayed here a few times and always had a good experience, but this time I treated myself to a suite. It was nice and spacious and the bed was incredibly cozy and comfortable. Everything felt very clean. Thank you!

Since there are basic facilities to cook in this room, some kind of table and chair to eat at/in besides the desk would be a nice addition.

Rooms are spacious and well cared for. Courtyard was pleasant but noisy (I-5 traffic). Nearby Starbucks.

Small and not-numerous towels. The odd valance over the parking-lot door admits too much light. Frankly, an old 1960's roadside motel that doesn't really lean into that era. Just a fair value for the night.
