Had lots of stuff to do. Kids loved the pool. Went in canoe. Played on playground. Very quiet area.

Almost slipped by pool several times. By lifevests very slick. By office was slippery. Shower was slippery. Need a couple of grab bars doors too wobbly to hang onto. For someone with problems walking the stairs to bedroom wasn’t easily managed.ended up sleeping on hideabed. Was afraid to go down stairs at night. The hideabed was horrible to sleep on. Could barely walk after first night due to bar across back. They have a wonderful maintance guy who brought over a new mattress which worked fine the next two nights. Couldn’t figure out tv at all. Saturday was football. Again wonderful maintance guy came over to fix tv so we could watch our game go hawks!

I love all the amenities that are available on the property with our stay. We got to enjoy our time in the pool, fire pit, game room, park and walk to the beach. The kayaking on the little river stream was a plus. We did have a problem with our first room and they were more than happy to switch us over to the next room without hesitation.

Definitely check to make sure there are batteries in all smoke detectors. We couldn’t cook the first night because there was a problem with the oven unfortunately. The hot tub was also being cleaned, but we weren’t able to use it the entire four day stay. Which was a bummer. Other than that it was a beautiful time.

This was a great place to stay. Much more than a hotel . So many things to do at the resort. Love their game room, dvds, boats, clam digging, basketball, swimming, hot tub,sauna outside community fire pit. All for no additional charge. This’s is a really special place. There staff is super helpful and they feel like they love the job and the guests. Chris and Brittany were especially wonderful!

We loved the rustic charm and the pristine location! Short walking trail to beach and exceptional view of the Dunes. We had a lovely conversation with the Manager and are thrilled that new life has been breathed into this beautiful resort! So many activities all included! Ax throwing, horseshoes, daily evening community camp fire, grilling facilities, pool/hot tub/ sauna, club house game room, canoing and kayaking, basketball and playground! With all of this fun no need to travel...but if you felt the need Ocean Shores and Seabrook are just a short drive away (10-20 minutes) Did we mention this entire resort is Dog friendly! So many areas for your fur family to explore. Also from Copalis Beach you can drive the shore all the way to Ocean Shores....This was our first stay and we surely will be back!

We loved everything! ❤️ The only suggestion we may add is to have a wash station for dogs feet?

The location is really good in Ocean Shores, the property is a 3-4 minute walk away from the beach. They have a swimming pool as well as a hot tub for guests to relax in. There is a community room above the reception with a pool table, foosball tables as well as couches to relax in. They offer a huge collection of board games and DVDs to take into your room as well as they light a fire in the front yard for people to sit around and chat. They also have a few kayaks that you can borrow. The rooms are actually half of each cottage, so you get a living area with a kitchen in the first floor and on the upper floor you have the bedroom and bunk beds outside. The staff are really friendly and eager to help you out with anything.

The only thing missing was breakfast. Since its a bit away from the main center of Ocean Shores, there is not a lot of food options nearby. So a breakfast would have been nice to have!

Beautiful location with plenty of amenities for a family beach vacation. Place was great for our family of 5 and the beach was vast and nearly completely empty. Staff were friendly, place was clean and we had a wonderful stay.

WiFi was spotty, but that just forced us to play games and socialize more

We came to Surfcrest for my sons 2nd birthday and Mothers Day for my wife. It was amazingly family and definetly kid friendly. The amenities were amazing! The activities that they offer and recreation room alongside the wide selection of movies and games were outstanding! The trails to the beach were beautiful and there is also a creek you can take a canoe out on! There is just so much to do and not enough time! Definitely booking for a week next time!

Really delightfully friendly and helpful staff at reception. Gave us a warm welcome, showing us the full amenities on site (sauna, heated pool, trail to beach, DVD library) and even lending us olive oil and salt and pepper for our homecooked dinner. Our place was lovely - bed was comfy and made with crisp linens, we both had a delightful night’s sleep to the sound of ocean waves and light breeze from porch door. We tried out the sauna in the morning and it was excellent. Only regret is we didn’t get a chance to use the free kayaks on site due to rain! Would most certainly visit again.

Shower head was a bit too low

Loved everything… it’s older but quite charming and clean, quiet and a close walk right to the beach. Lots to see plenty of relaxation and little extras like canoes, kayaks, a nightly fire pit, family games, etc. Staff very friendly and available.

The only difficult Thing is the spiral stair with excellent bed upstairs and bathroom Downstairs Can’t bring my older Mom for example unless she stays on the pull Out bed downstairs. That’s truly the only downside and its Wonderfully efficient otherwise

The cleaning staff& maintenance workers do an amazing job. Spotless& everything in its place. Very roomy suite with full kitchen , fireplace & room for friends& family with bunkbeds& a sofa bed. Pet friendly too! Very peaceful stay. Toiletries & excellent supply of dishes in kitchen.

I think the pool facilities might be too small for # of units/ possible guest numbers. Might need same at other end of facility. Due to dune height, even though view possible, no ocean view. Oh well...short walk was good for us:)
