During our stay at the waterfront, we were impressed by the rooms level of cleanliness and comfort. It was well appointed, the towels were spotlessly clean , and the tv had lots of options. Fridge was also working , and our room came equipped with a microwave for heating up stuff. The view was spectacular, providing a excellent view of the canal. The staff was present, and ready to help at a moments notice, and provided friendly, hospitable service.

The only thing (which due to physical constraints of where it is located, which is by a road) cant be helped. It is by a road and you will hear cars in the room due to the location. At night , the noise tends to be less as there is less traffic at night. As a personal recommendation for light sleepers, bring a pair of noise canceling headphones.

The staff are super helpful and friendly. We were in room 27 which has an area with some nice soft comfy chairs, a fake fireplace, and a large TV. We were pleasantly surprised how large our room was! I think the rooms on the bottom floor are larger than the 2nd floor units based on seeing it from the back. The second floor units have a balcony you can sit on to enjoy the view. Seals frequent the area so be on the look out! We arrived a bit late and called ahead to let them know. He turned on the heat in our room to make it all nice and warm before we arrived. The room was nice, clean, larger than a typical room which was perfect for our family of 4. Access to the water is super easy as there are steps right into the water but there is no sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again and make this a yearly family tradition during the Christmas season! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We look forward to returning!

No complaints! Everything was lovely!

We were given the friendliest reception from the lady who greeted us, which was a perfect start. The room was spacious, well equipped and stylish. The location is great, with a view of the lake. A huge shout-out to Mike, who drove the backpack I had left behind all the way to SeaTac and then refused any payment for his time, trouble and kindness. This was truly above and beyond, and turned what could have been a disaster, given that all our holiday documents, money and my laptop were in the backpack, into a very positive experience. His attitude was truly outstanding.

We only stayed two nights, which was a bit too short to enjoy the area properly.

Great location on the water with great views! Easy check in, & staff was very kind & caring. We appreciated that they had quiet hours enforced to make sure their guests aren't disturbed. Very thoughtful!! Room was cute & updated & decorated well.

The road noise is unavoidable since it's close to the highway but luckily, wearing earplugs & having 2 fans helped to drown it out. And I think they forgot to clean the shower since a handful of long black hair was left on the tile wall, but I understand if they forgot. Everyone's human- I forget things too, so it's ok. :-)

A very tidy, watefront motel with separate cabins & RV park. The shower was hot & welcoming, the large bed soft & comfortable, the fridge & microwave convenient, the TV brought in plenty of channels, the sofa plush & coffee table nicely placed, parking just outside, & with a selection of tea (thanks for not forgetting tea drinkers!) amongst the usual Keurig coffee options. But waking up with a spectacular sunrise over the water was the frosting on the cake!

No complaints, but since you ask second, then place complaints first in reviews (Hey Booking, why be negative straight out of the gate!?) I thought the proximity to Highway 101 would be a problem, but it was actually subdued throughout the night.

What a fabulous location for a one-night stop off. Lovely views from room, ideal for our small family & very clean. Helpful & friendly staff on arrival.

Sadly we had a terrible night's sleep because of other guests in the motel - really inconsiderate people in adjoining rooms making noise until past 1am. Obviously this wasn't the fault of the motel, however rather than suggesting people need to consider it's an older building & to be quiet - it could be stated any loud noise after 10pm that results in complaints means a loss of deposit!

It’s a good location for hiking Staircase and a clean and functional place to sleep. The view could be nice.

It’s almost super nice and is priced as such, but the vibe is just a roadside travel motel. We almost had a nice view but they parked an RV in front of us that obscured most. minor improvements would make it march the price.

Fresh and clean suite with a generous shared space. Kitchen was well set up, we appreciated the coffee/tea maker. The property is right on the water, there's an entrance for small personal watercraft and fire pits. Great location for access to the southern area of Olympic National Park. We were pleasantly surprised.

Our ground floor suite views of the lake were largely obscured by RVs. No shelf space in the bathroom. The turnoff is right off a main road, we had to take extra care with our toddler.

evening front desk Kay awesome helping me. In the lodge, room very spacious and upgraded. a homey feel but 1st class. Super deck with lake view. Bed with topper was so very comfortable. Loved the very large TV and that it swiveled with channel list helpful.

I spent 2 ½ hrs getting lost trying to find correct hwy. The afternoon front desk was no help with directions. All she had to do was to make sure I was driving on 101 NORTH not 101 SOUTH. Finally Kay the early evening front desk gave me correct directions. It’s very imp all staff members should have written knowledge of hwys and directions. She should have known I needed to be driving on 101 NORTH not SOUTH, then imp to take the 1st Shelton exit but NOT the 2nd exit and to continue straight on 8. My map did not show this. I spent unnecessary wasted time ending up in down town Shelton.

Loved the location, view, room size, and accommodations!! Right off the 101 close enough to Shelton for shopping and perfect take off point to explore further north. Can't wait to go back in the summer and see if we can catch some biolume action!!

The bed was not that comfortable, but we do like a firm mattress and are NOT small people by any means so even though it wasn't my favorite it was still great!
