I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Downtown Tacoma Marriott, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the modern and inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and eager to assist with any needs, making the check-in process smooth and efficient. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with comfortable bedding, a sleek bathroom, and all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The views of downtown Tacoma were an added bonus, creating a perfect backdrop for my trip.

I found the menu options to be somewhat restricted. While the food quality was excellent, I would have appreciated a wider variety of choices, especially for those staying multiple nights. It would be great to see more diverse meal options added in the future.

It feels brand new! Sleek modern design, super clean and comfortable, very very quiet for a city hotel, nice staff. Restaurant downstairs was super yummy! We had an issue right when we were first opening our door, and a staff member came right over to help us and was very friendly. Turns out we just needed to push a bit harder on the handle. It is close to the Glass/History Museum and lots of shops/restaurants by the Thea Foss Waterway!

The only drawback was that the super modern bathroom door slid sideways and left a small gap open. So things weren’t extremely private when using the restroom. There also is no vent to turn on in the bathroom either, which was odd. That’s all that was a drawback! Everything else was wonderful, and my husband and I already want to go back.

Beautiful property, modern and upscale feel to it. The rooms felt more like a studio apartment - Set up with a good work station and closet for a longer stay.

There were a few amenities missing that would have been welcome: there was no microwave and no breakfast included. Since no breakfast was included, I wanted to make instant oatmeal for my kids, because kids are always hungry first thing in the morning. But that was very challenging. Seeing as there was no microwave. Luckily, the restaurant gave me some extra cups and I was able to use the coffee maker to heat up hot water. Something is simple as that makes a huge difference. also, Steve was cordial, but not outgoing or friendly.

The room was amazing and security clearance to get to parts of the hotel. Made me feel very safe. The gentleman working the front desk this weekend went above and beyond. I wish the rest of the staff had his enthusiasm.

The only thing I did not like is the women that worked the front desk. Very uptight, and had a stuck up attitude. Especially the lady checking me out of the hotel. If it weren’t for the nice gentleman that worked the front desk over the weekend, I probably would’ve said something.

The pool was open late which was really nice, the bed was comfortable, view was great.

There were some weird men that wanted a ride up the elevator to the top floor where they were having some “adult party” seemed like possible pay for services type thing. Really weird

Every staff member I came into contact with was very pleasant. The location was spot on, and the king room was spacious. If I ever need to come back, I will definitely use the pool and hot tub. The 2 meals I ate at the restaurant were pricey, tasted great, and bar staff was friendly.

The Room was Amazing staff was amazing veiw was amazing. the only thing that we Could say for our stay that kind of not something we liked was the Parking Garage. But we had a Bigger vehicle because it was snowing when we left our home. Beautiful stay ty Tacoma Marriott.

King suite very, very spacious larger than expected. Hotel has very comfortable king bed, all facilities provided from 24/7 gym, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Also good restaurant and ample parking.

Need to pay for parking at $22 per night and Wi-Fi not automatically free/included like majority of hotels,Air BnB types, etc. $14.95 per day good thing I’m a Marriott bonvoy so being a member it’s free.

Property was nice, clean, close to good restaurants, and the event center we were attending

Small children were allowed to run up and down the hallway, screaming for long periods of time at 6 AM

This wass the quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Wonderful bed, clean room and very spacious.

Bathroom barn style door was off the track, and did not provide adequate privacy.
