Staff was friendly & efficient. The property was clean. A nice river view & a great location. Easy access to town or the highway out of town. We drive an EV & there was a charger there so that was a huge benefit for us. We found a restaurant right down the road, Provisions, that was just excellent. We were on a ski trip to White Pass & this room had plenty of outlets for recharging our gear & electronics. I made a call for some extra towels & they were delivered promptly. We will definitely stay again while skiing or any other time we find ourselves in Yakima.

The only thing I didn't like was the color scheme. I am color sensitive & I wasn't wild about the color but that hardly matters. I'm just weird & everything else was great!

The location is simply perfect. We wanted to bike and the hotel is literally on the Greenway trail. It is 20 miles long and for some time along the river. Every room in the hotel has a river view - that is gorgeous. It is next to El Mirador - a mexican restaurant that we loved. The bonus is that it has Tesla Supercharger on the property. From location standpoint, cannot ask for more.

The cleanliness could have been better. The bathroom was not cleaned to satisfaction although we didn't complain as we were there for only 1 night. The breakfast has decent choices but lack healthy choices like warm oatmeal, multigrain bread, choice of berries, non fat plain yogurt. Wish they keep more of that. We asked for lower level and got the fourth floor.

a beautiful view from the room. all rooms have a river view. very soothing and quiet, except the guy down the hallway was screaming at someone to go walk the dog. went on for quite a while. glad I was up already !!!!! but other than that . a nice experience. The restaurant next door was great. Mexican food was very good and decor was very colorful. Will eat there again.

The loudmouth in the morning. Thank God that doesn't happen very often. But everything else was super.

Outdoor pool next to the river - perfect for our family! The comfiest beds ever! So convenient to the freeway, but quiet & with a Burger King right next door - perfect with kids. Larg-ish refrigerator for a hotel room. LOVED the balcony with 2 chairs and great view of the river, close up.

The bathtub / toilet room was a little disappointing. The toilet was very low to the floor, but flushed well and not too loud. The tub also pretty shallow and old, so only used shower for the kids. The room itself is really really small. So for a family of 4, a little tight, but luckily the sink is in the larger room.

The front desk staff are so friendly and kind. One even had her sweet, well-behaved dog there as a little hotel mascot. It was a stress relief to play fetch with the pup in the lobby after a grueling drive over the mountains (I'm a NYer, I'm not fond of driving.) The room was clean, safe, and comfortable. The bed was squeaky but comfortable. The location is great- it's right off the highway and close to all the restaurants. There is an elevator. All rooms overlook the beautiful river with a great walking trail. There is a small pool- not quite big enough for laps, but good for a cool down. There is Dove soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the room. There is also a single-serve coffee machine and coffee. I have also stayed in the Marriott in town. In my opinion, there is not an appreciable benefit to the Marriott for the price increase compared with this hotel. I have now stayed at the Baymont twice after having stayed at the Marriott, thus saving $100.

The balcony could be cleaner. I didn't have coffee lids in my room to take my coffee on the go. There should be a trash can in the bathroom, to be more woman-friendly.

I was not happy with the front desk. I booked 2 nights and they insisted I only booked 1. They made me come down to the desk Sunday and book a 2nd night. The cost was more for 2 nights that it would have been through booking.com. I showed them my reservation at the end of my stay and they told me that it was because I booked a second night. I tried to clear up the confusion and they refused to work with me. I am extremely disappointed.

Check in and Check out went flawless. Breakfast was busy, had plenty of seating and food to go around. A couple softball teams were there same time, they were respectful and efficient as well as breakfast too. Rooms were cleans. Beds were firm, possibly fairly new and not broke in. Stayed on bottom floor, had access to the green grass out back for the dogs. Along with beautiful scenery of the Yakima river as the sun set. Let's not forget to shout of the amazing authentic Mexican restaurant with unique bar and outdoor seating in the same parking lot, walking distance.

The staff from the desk to housekeeping~they all were so kind & helpful. They acknowledged our disabled son and was genuinely helpful even if he is very repetitive at the things he says. The place was clean, loved the beautiful walkway, pool, BBQ area & hot tub were clean and cared for, we all loved the balcony too. We also loved the location. We came to Yakima to visit our disabled son that lives at Yakima Valley School. He loved it and asked if we can stay there every time we come to visit! ❤️

Everything was great...staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, quiet, and beds were super comfy..pillows are comfortable. they provide make up wipes and use Dove hair products (amazing compared to others). Breakfast was great...fresh fruit, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles.... And more. Alot of variety for everyone. No nonsense outside. Highly recommend if you gotta stay in Yakima.

Room had a river front view. It’s a beautiful spot. Excellent value. Priced affordable. Beds are very comfortable. Everything is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a nice perk. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Some guests next to our room didn’t pick up after their dog. We brought our dog and loved the walk out slider to river. Would have been nice to not have to step around the poop. The lamp lights are too bright. I prefer a softer light.
