My brotĥer lives in Martinsburg and is nearing his end due to a fatal disease. Me and my family come often to this hotel, because it is close to his home. The visits with him can be upsetting somwtimes, but k owing im coming back to the same place where i am treated well helps alot. Sherry, in the bar remembers me everytime we come. That so means alot. She asks about my brother and my family, which is more important at a time like this than you know. I work in the Hotel business at a much larger scale, so i can only hope my lodge gives the same feeling to our guest as the Holiday Inn staff gives me and my family.

Not too much of anything

My brother lives in Martinsburg and has a fatal disease. My sisters and i visit a couple timea a year and this is where we stay and have stayed for the last 5-6 years. Its always pleasant and i dont want to stay anywhere else. All but this time has the staff always been very happy to see us and always welcoming. The front desk girl this time wasnt what i was use to. Maybe she was having a bad day. One time would not deter my future stays. I am in the hotel business myself working for Great Wolf Lodge, so i understand a bad day! Thank you Holiday Inn Martinsburg WV. Its nice to have a friendly place to go after an emotional day with my brother.

Check in was a matter of me showing my license and in less than a minute we had our key cards and were on our way. The staff was very friendly, and very helpful. Our room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Even when they came in to tidy up the next day, they did a great job and the room really looked good. I was very happy with our stay. I prefer a Holiday inn as I've never had a bad experience, this time was no exception!

I really can't think of anything I didn't like. I was very pleased with our stay.

The hotel was clean and the staff worked with us when we had an issue that came up just prior to check in. The indoor pool was a nice feature. The only thing negative I would say is there isn't a Continental breakfast because they have a full restaurant that you gave to pay additionally for. But overall fantastic place to stay

Conveniently located near a variety of places to eat and stores. The parking lot is very well lit, I felt safe when having to take my dog out. Restaurant was bigger than I had pictured, we didn't get to eat there, but definitely will next time.

I was not given ant type of paper work or anything upon check in. I was inform that I will know the full cost at check out. I felt like I could have been handed something to prove that I had the right to been there.

My brother is sick and lives in Martinsburg. This hotel is close and comfortable and me and my family stay here everytime we come to visit him. This time i was with friends and they loved it as well..Thw stafff treats us amazing. I always walk through the door and say hey guys I'm home.

Breakfast buffet wasnt great. I do usually go out for breakfast, but this time i had breakfast buffet and only thi g that i wasnt impressed with. Ive had dinner there before and it was great.

I loved the spa tub in my room it was fantastic, the staff was amazing and so friendly towards us during our stay. The pool was clean and a perfect temperature, I was provided towels and soaps along with “bubbles” for my spa tub. The room was very clean and being able to control the thermostat was a huge perk not many hotels offer. The bed was very comfortable and the blankets and sheets were extremely soft and plush. I have recommended this hotel to many friends and family and will continue to do so. My stay was exceptional it’s set the bar quite high for any hotel stays in the future.

The women who were cleaning the rooms were EXTREMELY LOUD in the morning. They were complaining about life and work so loudly that all could be heard in the entire hallway! I've never heard anything like that in any of my stays! Also, tub/shower functioned well, but could use an update.

Very comfortable bed, definitely best bed in a hotel I have ever slept in. Very clean. Staff very friendly especially Sammy who works in the restaurant where we had breakfast. Check in was really easy and also check out. Good location. Would recommend.

We had noise at night from the highway traffic which was bearable but a lorry was parked outside the hotel near our room and it was a refrigerated lorry and the noise was very loud and kept us awake all night.

easy access off #81. welcomed warmly and assisted by Ted on duty. Room well equipped, bed particularly excellent in comfort. Room service good. was disappointed not to have complimentary bfast at the price. But room service brought excellent bfast even though I had to pay for it. I would definitely come back to this Holiday Inn!

see above re bfast. My room Keurig coffee maker was faulty. I wanted extra coffee as I left at 11am but none available.
