Check in was super quick and easy. Chloe helped with dinner and breakfast recommendations. We chose the Pizza Barn which was great! Really enjoyed the way they have spruced up the outside with flowers and lots of seating outside the rooms. My room was very clean! I booked a King sized bed that I wish I could pack home with me. The bed was extremely comfortable and the best night I've slept in a long time on my trip. Looking forward to finding more motels like the Sage.

I didn't run into any issues at this property. The price was very affordable and considering what I paid I am happy! Nothing to complain about.

Sage Motel is a good mom n pop motel. The furnishings are just fine - everything you need. And clean. I appreciated the new, tight windows that one can open; and the frig/microwave. The brick walls kept everything quiet. Staff was accommodating and helpful. You can go and swim at the Newcastle Convention Center's nice indoor pool just around the corner for $5. Call them for their pool hours.

Almost missed the place... their sign is hard to see. Lobby was a little weird; not sure I found the ice supply intended for guests.

Very clean room. Nice, updated bathroom. Super comfortable foam mattress. No room key or card! Instead they use a combo door lock which works great and one less item to carry and account for.

The outside garbage can was overflowing and not emptied daily.

We didn't do breakfast. Location was perfect for what we had going on. Staff was super helpful. The flower pots were unbelievably beautiful!

Air conditioner was loud, but it worked. A necessity because it got to 100 degrees one day. The owner assured us that it was on the list of things to upgrade.

Been traveling on the road for a while now and I can say without a doubt I felt the room was clean! Staying at motels can be a gamble on if it'll be okay or not. This is a nice little motel and fit our travel budget. Will stay again if passing through.

Location easy to find. Gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Room clean, updated and quiet. Would visit again.

nobody there when we arrived. if we needed something no one here. sent wrong code to get in during a thunderstorm. only 3 towels for 6 people.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful with laundry service along with restaurant recommendations. I would return.

Great location

Loved being sent a door code in advance of check in so that we could go straight to our room! If only everywhere was like this! Also liked the microwave in the room.

We were only at the property for max 6 hours and in that time had a hot shower, slept well and felt refreshed. What’s not to like.
