I got to the hostel very early in the morning (6:15ish) and they let me check-in without additional cost. Turned out I get to have the room with 4-bunk bed capacity all for myself. It was a pleasant surprise and definitely add to the value of staying there. The owner and chef checked in with me to ensure I have everything I need and offer a ride to the airport. WiFi and hot water works very well. You don't need an air conditioner, Da Lat is chill. Location is good. About 10 minutes walk to the lake and night market. If you go right from the hostel to the nearest junction, you'll find winmart (convenience store) and delicious grilled rice paper snack.

Everything was much better than expected 10/10 Warm welcome from the hosts Mr Happy, he could speak English, French, a bit Chinese. .And he is supper friendly. They are really nice people. Communication and check-in were smooth and easy. I really like the cooking class and karaoke very "Vietnamese" style. Very well organized. Great location High recommend.

Mr. Happy homestay is located very near Dalat Center. You get to spend time with a nice little family, learn how to cook local meals, discover the country side and learn about the culture. My stay here has been fantastic as I even did Karaoke 😂. Highly recommend any backpacker to stay for a good few nights...you will not regret it. THANKYOU MR. HAPPY FOR MAKING ME FEEL WELCOME ☺️

I loved the rooftop to take a moment to relax after exploring the city all day! Family dinner is a highlight as well as karaoke! The hosts know how to make you feel welcome and are always eager to help :)

Mr Happy was such a gentleman, a fun host and a friend all in one! He helped us organise everything, cooked us an amazing dinner and put on a karaoke party just for us! Such a great guy and an amazing business he has set up!

The atmosphere here is amazing. All the staff is crazy nice and they do a lot for every customer. Family dinner are great and karaoke nights load of fun!

Staff very helpful and friendly and very fluent in English... food available with nice little restaurant. Good location, convenient for everything.

It was really nice and the bed are comfy! The host was SUPER friendly and always happy! It’s was so so lovely to stay here :) The family dinner was the pure join aswell!
