We really loved being right at the lake edge, the scenery was very beautiful and the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee. The Lake House has a really good vibe. There’s lots of games and books, lots of friendly playful cats, and the staff were really wonderful. We had dinner and breakfast prepared for us which was convenient, tasty and inexpensive. If you’re looking for some peace and to chill out, within walking distance to the beautiful Truc Lam Monastery, stay here. We would 100% stay again if we’re back in Da Lat. We came for 4 days and stayed for 7. We didn’t plan on doing much, just sit by the lake and relax, however we ended up renting a bike from the property and added a few exploring days onto it. This place is so nice to come back to after a big day. You don’t need aircon because it cools right down at night. The fans work well. The hosts cook fab meals if you let them know 24 hours in advance, they are super hospitable. We were also allowed to check in early which was a plus as we rolled in at 7am, though it was low season so we might have gotten lucky.

Lakeside property in a scenic location. Tranquil atmosphere. Friendly, pleasant and helpful staff. Reasonably comfy beds with mosquito nets. Medium size lockers. Good breakfast {VND30k) and dinner (VND70k). This is an ideal location for people to relax and rejuvenate, so I love the "No noise from 9pm-7:30am" policy. Unfortunately, a few inconsiderate guests do not abide by the policy. It is a tricky one for staff to enforce, so it is the guests who need to address the issue.

A quiet spot right next to the lake, surrounded by nature. The house and furniture have a warm, their design is cool! The staff are friendly, and there are dogs and cats around. Their homemade Vietnamese food were so good! I highly recommend to try their food.(breakfast or dinner)

This isn’t really a downside, but due to the location, it was sometimes difficult to get a Grab taxi. It was a little bit hard to find food near here. You need to go to the city center or order breakfast or dinner at the hotel (their food was so good!)

Staying here is one of my highlights during my time at Dalat. The place is cute with a good view. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating. I ordered dinner and Lia cooked me one of the best meals I've eaten in Vietnam. You should try having dinner here. Also, the room was clean. The view from the room was stunning. The bathroom & toilet, while shared, were perfectly clean. The location is a bit isolated because it is located right next to the lake. However, you can reach this place by Grab Car (in my experience, not many Grab Bike available from/to here). However, that makes this place a complete gem for its serenity and beauty.

Nothing. Everything was perfect. It's a bummer I stayed for only one night here. Will definitely come back someday.

restaurant has to be booked a day in advance so if you show up hoping for dinner or breakfast the next morning you’re out of luck. There’s nothing else around. Couldn’t find kayaks to go out on the lake. It’s a bit remote making it hard to get transportation sometimes and tours dropoff and pickup in the city.

It has the most beautiful view of Tuyen Lam Lake. The staffs are REALLY REALLY nice!! I wanted to have the nicest view so I booked the boat house which actually house 4 people 🤣. So when they found out that I was a lone traveller they gave me a discount. Staffs are very friendly and helpful and it feels like we are just friends and not customers. If you need a meal, just tell them the day before and they will cook and you can just sit n eat with the staffs. There’s also a cat at the property 😊. There’s little details that they put in that I enjoy very much like there’s fresh flowers at the kitchen area. The sun rise and sunset over the lake is amazing!! I really enjoyed the stay at the lake house. It’s a simple place, rustic vibe and just feel so chill. Heard from the staff that the government might be doing some development in the area soon so this place might be gone soon so go there while you have the chance.

There’s an attached bathroom in the boathouse but no attached toilet so you need to come out of the room to use the common toilet. There are some bugs and spiders around, but it’s part of being close to nature. This place is not for fuzzy travellers or those who want a glamorous place but for those who enjoy simple place close to nature.

Amazing location — so peaceful. The view from the Lake View private room was great and the toilet/shower was just across the hallway. A variety of tasty coffees on offer, as well as a paid-for breakfast (ordered 24 hours in advance). I stayed in the dorm room on my second night and although the room was quite small, it had lockers and the bed was soft/comfortable (towel included). The bathroom had communal soap/shampoo which was greatly appreciated.

Building walls/floor quite thin so noise travelled from all other parts of the building — not too bothersome, but had it been busier with other guests, it may have been too noisy. Breakfast, lunch and dinner had to be ordered 24 hours in advance and there was no reminder to do this, meaning you could turn up for one night and not be able to have dinner as you didn’t order it the night before (unless you remembered). Staff were kind and helpful but inflexible with taking late orders for these meals. Also, no air conditioning, but this wasn’t particularly necessary in December as it was much cooler in the evenings.

One of the best accomondations I've ever stayed in. The surroundings are stunning, directly on the lake, it was very calm and peaceful. The owner and her helpers are lovely and were always helpful and friendly. Every meal was delicious - I'm vegan, so sometimes they prepared a special meal just for me. The whole place gets cleaned very well every day. So I can definitely recommend it for everyone who is looking for a beautiful place to stay a little bit outside of the city and still close enough to easily catch a grab for only 1$.
