I’ve done multiple Ha Long cruises and I’ve stayed on traditional sail boats but this is my first luxury yacht experience. I enjoyed it so much, I’m considering going on a cruise now. Modern & new design, roomy suites, generous food inclusions with very friendly staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3D2N sail. I wouldn’t do the 2D1N sail as I felt it was too rushed especially when you consider the drive time from Hanoi and the timing slots of the off boat activities meant the attractions weren’t crowded with passengers from other boats. I feel the itinerary is very carefully planned. Would recommend & rebook if ever travelling again to Ha Long Bay. Shout out to Kevin our waiter who was very attentive and a main reason for our enjoyable experience.

The only negative was the wifi. We are digital nomads and it was impossible to stay connected. Signal strength is only manageable when the boat is anchored and not moving. Staff were very helpful when trying to sort wifi issues and even offered to hotspot off their mobile data, however for this cruise to be world class, reliable wifi is a must. I would recommend buying an eSIM and toggling between mobile data and wifi to ensure you’re always connected.

Unbelievable cruise, with lots of facilities. The check in / check out process was wonderfully smooth and seamless, with a nice waiting lounge and organized process. The rooms are spacious, very confortable, well designed, and you are left without option but to relax. In fact, the whole cruise just pulls you to relax. This was really a vacation within a vacation. We enjoyed the cool pool with it's joint bar, for a moment to unwind. Didn't go on all the activities, but what we did was good. Aside from all of this and perhaps the most important and valuable aspects of this trip, are the people, the staff. Always available to help you with anything, always in good spirit. None of this would be possible without the main, key person, Lucy, who was essential for the whole reservation process, very attentive and available for any question or issue we had and in fact ensuring we were going to have a great experience. I need to shout out to her, very specifically!

Great new luxurious boat. Nice facilities and rooms.

The food was not as good as expected and there was not much attempt demonstrated to get away from the other boats. The whole experience was rather crowded and pricey.

Checking in is a breeze, there is dedicated lounge area to wait before boarding. Staff are friendly and helpful. The ship is in excellent condition, clean and roomy. Good selection also good across meals. Highly recommended to take an overnight cruise in Halong bay

biggest ship in the are has its perks. The staff was very friendly. Rooms are large for a cruise ship.

Need more nightlife. Someone playing piano or some sort of instrument. The night was very quiet. Some boats have fireworks or DJ's on the top deck.

The facilities and room are great! Best shower! Food is nice and events are pretty well planned.

The boarding was delayed and in turn causing lunch to be delayed. Too hungry and upset our stomach for the entire stay.

It is fabulous cruise in Halong bay comes with luxury facilities and nice design. Truly love fresh seafood meals . Specially thanked Tom and team to make our staying unforgettable. Halong bay surely is a gem of Viet Nam as must go destination.

Excellent stay aboard Grand Pioneers! Great experience with a very professional staff and activities. The boat is beautiful and the personnel competent and engaging. Food is good and tastefully prepared. Highly recommended!
