The staff particularly Rosie she was amazing. She answered all my silly questions and sorted my boat trip and taxis even after I left the property!! Rosie also messaged me to make sure I got on the boat. The breakfast was also amazing. Even though it was low season they didn’t reduce choice.

I was lucky enough to get an upgrade and on the 17th floor. But I could still hear the noise from outside, loud music, building work and traffic. It is also opposite a theme park called Sun world, if you are going to sun world then this is the perfect location. The only downside to the room was no furniture on the balcony.

Great hotel! We were upgraded for a better room, it was so nice. The junior suite was big, the bed was big and confortable, there was a seating area with swivel tv with english tv channels. We had a balcony with nice view. One night we had a room service and food was good. The breakfast was great. The pool was nice indoor pool and the gym was great. If you buy a big ice coffee from the hotel’s coffee shop, it’s huge! We got a really nice deal for the Ha Long cruice from the hotel and we were allowed to leave our big bags at the hotel for storage during that time. The Dragon amusement park is just other side of the road as well the cable car. Lots of restaurants nearby. Almost next door there is a really good Indian restaurant.

There was a bit noise from the beach clubs.

We had an amazing experience at hotel soleil halong! We checked in on the eve of my partner’s birthday and I had requested to make it special for him. They organized a well-planned birthday-themed dinner that exceeded my expectations. The decorations (both in room and at the dining area) were perfect, and the bouquet they provided upon request was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was friendly, efficient, and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel is budget-friendly but doesn’t compromise on quality. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered a stunning view, making the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a memorable and value-for-money experience!

The breakfast is excellent. Location is near the port and Sun World- perfect for the tourist. The staff is kind and helpful.

Staff were cheerful & very helpful. Rooms were much more spacious than expected. Breakfast included and was exceptional with lots of variety & high quality. This is not 5 stars, more like a 6 + stars hotel.

Clean and modern hotel with very good location. The port for the boat tours is 15min walking away. Also a street with a lot of good restaurants is in front of it. The hotel itself and the rooms are clean and it has a big restaurant area.

For the spa services we needed a translator since the 3 employees did not speak any english. Also the cooks and some staff at the restaurant had struggles with English.

The upgraded room was AMAZING! It was a very beautiful and spacious room that provided a great view. This was perhaps one of the very best rooms I have every stayed in!

The hotel food was very disappointing compared to the luxury of the rooms. I ordered a steak that came out long before my wife's food (she had to wait) and was so overcooked that it was basically like chewing on rubber. The steak was way overpriced for being a small and poorly cooked as it was.

It was fabulous. Very grand and decadent. The rooms and bathroom were very luxurious and spacious. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and the pool was great. The view was spectacular. You could have fitted a football team in the double shower it was so big. I have no doubt we were upgraded because we got more than we paid for. They also allowed us to leave our luggage there while we went on our cruise which was another bonus

My spa treatment was a bit random, and the masseuse asked for a tip (she even specified the amount) which made me very uncomfortable. I believe it’s not custom to tip in Vietnam and it’s not custom to tip in NZ. I will however tip if I feel the service was great. I didn’t tip this time.

Beautiful bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Over the road from Sunworld. Check in was quick. The rooms are spacious and the beds are dreamy. Big TV with a few English channels. The gym is decent for a hotel gym and the pool area is good. The breakfast is fantastic.

The Ole 'tapas' bar, whilst marketed as a Spanish restaurant, does not serve any Spanish tapas at all. The whole bar/restaurant lacked atmosphere and had a weird mix of furniture crammed into it with no customers.
