Neat and clean room. Friendly staff.

The restaurant in the hotel is expensive and the food was not the best. There is a bellman who seems to like to be tipped every time he helps customers.

This is a very good hotel and many thanks to Tuan at the front desk for his high quality and diligent service. Also, special mention to Linh at the front desk for her very good service. They are a very professional and dedicated team. It is also worth mentioning that Tuan speaks very good English.

The massage/ sauna/ steam room leaves a lot to be desired. The facilities were good, but more staff training needed. One of the masseurs was on her cell phone half the time. I went there seeking some relief for my very sore back. When I left it was no better. I wouldn't let this 'What I didn't like' influence your decision to stay here. The quality service provided by Tuan and his team make up for small issues like this.

Booked the Premier suit as there were 3 of us and the triple rooms apparently only have views to the back of the hotel (which would still be fine), but as only staying one night, we wanted to take in the famous Halong Bay Views. We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness and facilities of the Suite and the 180 degree Views were amazing, well worth the extra dollars. We travelled during Tet so Ha long bay was incredibly quiet as was this hotel. Due to the very limited number of guests the restaurant was very quiet, breakfast was not a Buffet but we were offered most options that would have been on the buffet and these were prepared individually for us (we still felt like we had a feast). As most retail and restaurants were shut, we decided to eat at the hotel. We were looked after well and although they did have a limited dinner menu offering mostly local foods, we still enjoyed our dinner experience there. The gym and pool were closed due to lack of staff and patrons so we could not check these out unfortunately.

Exorbitant Laundry fees. As we had just returned from wet and cold Sapa and had been living around smokey fires and had been trudging through muddy rice fields, we had a lot of washing to do. There was no way to wash our own clothes with only a laundry service offered. As we were desperate for some clean clothes as on a night cruise the next day, we took up the offer despite the potential of a large fee to wash two small bags of clothes. A big laundry bill of $60 Aus at the end of a nice stay was a bit jarring. In comparison we had a bag of clothes washed, dried and folded in Hoi An for $3.

1. Location is great. Facing the sea, walking distance to Sun World, Bai Chay Bridge and eateries, and yet not too busy. 2. Rooms are big and comfortable. 3. View from the room for sea view room is great. 4. Attentive staff at breakfast, though many couldn't speak English well. Food was great.

1. Rooms were not cleaned very well within stay. The shower drainage was clogged with a lot of hair. Can see that they only did the min. 2. Would be good if there are more English speaking staff around.

The room was very comfortable and clean. We got a bit unlucky with the weather and were forced to stay in for two days – no problem since the room was so cosy yet spacious! Staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast provided many options. This is outstanding value for the price.

The elegantly designed shower cabin doesn't fully close, making spills unavoidable. The smart TV was a little slow at times.

Sea facing bedroom and dining room. In-house spa that opens til late. nice breakfast with local and western choices. staff has been most helpful to book tour and arrange limousine Van transport to accommodation in Hanoi town. cannot thank them enough.

From Noi Ban airport to Halong, car hire driver went to two hotels of the same name before getting the right one facing the sea. partly driver’s confusion over the name.

Gorgeous room looking over the bay, very sad to see the damage the typhoon has caused to the town . This hotel was luckily not affected from what we could see.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed. Very friendly and helpful staff even with stuff that has nothing to do with them. I had a problem with a taxi that wanted to charge more than we agreed and I didn’t have more cash on me just card, the hotel paid the remaining amount and it was very nice! I also forgot a ring and they’re doing all they can to help me get it back. The view from the room with Sea View is amazing and it’s very clean. I really liked it. Wi-fi was very good as well.

Breadfast was just oki as we did expect like a buffet breakfast, but overall it is oki

I think it would have been better if we travel in May, the weather was quite wet and foggy when we were there.

The rooms and swimming pool and amenities and service staff were excellent and beyond expectations. Everything was very clean, even the swimming pool! Staff also helped us call a taxi and even offered to help us book a bus back to Hanoi.

The soap provided were in mini disposables bottles, but you can request for more.
