Too many Indian Trousers, And Feel noisy when you're around the Hotel

The first room I got was average. It was looking straight at another building across the street but after I requested for a change due to noise from next door kids, I got another room on a higher floor with a balcony overlooking the lake. The new room was quiet with an excellent view. It was big and comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat with everything I wanted and more! The hotel staff were helpful and courteous. The rooms and almost everything was Gold-plated including the toilet suite and bidet. Very luxurious indeed.

The pool showers were all faulty and the water was literally just dribbling down. Some staff at breakfast don't speak much English. The piillow was too soft for my comfort but there is no other option.

We loooooved this hotel. It was the last stop on our trip and we needed to rest and chill out. We ordered room service and filled the tub. It was heaven. The pool is unreal with a gorgeous view of the city.

Our room was lovely, very clean and specious with great views! The gym was probably the best hotel gym I have ever been too and the view from the pool was incredible!

The location on the lake was beautiful but keep in mind it is about a 15/20 min drive from the old quarter. The service at the spa was disappointing. I asked for a pedicure with gel and after she removed my existing colour, she said her shift finished and that they didn’t have time to put the polish on. I had to go and find a local nail bar to finish the job!

Staff was wonderful. They let us check in early and gave us recommendations for where to go and what to eat. The most helpfull was that they let us leave our luggage with them the morning we checked and let us use their lobby wifi and bathroom throughout the day when we needed to until we had to catch our train to our next desitnation at 10 pm. They had umbrellas for their customers to barrow whenever they/we wanted. Overall its easy to tell that they are genuinely nice and helpful people. regarding the property, it was in a great location, clean, large rooms, good breakfast. When booking your room, I would suggest booking the one with a city view, even though it may cost a little more, to make sure you have a window and get sunlight. ours had a window but was facing a wall so we didnt get any natural light and or see anything. other than that everything was great

The hotel is lovely, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. It's about a 15-minute drive to the Old Quarter, so if you’re looking to immerse yourself in Hanoi’s hustle and bustle, staying directly in the Old Quarter might be a better choice. Unfortunately, the counter staff at check-in didn’t seem very welcoming, likely due to our group size of 10, which required scanning multiple passports. Additionally, they didn’t label our room keys, leading to confusion and us ending up in the wrong rooms. The biggest disappointment was their request to return the cloth bathroom slippers at checkout, raising hygiene concerns as it suggested they might reuse them." This is not acceptable for a 5 star hotel, specifically when you pay a high price.

Perfect hotel to stay in Hanoi. Brilliant big room, golden shine & beautiful, great bed, TV, sofa, working desk, towers, toilet, TV...all are clean, comfortable & great. Breakfast is many choice & all foods are very good taste on top 5* hotel standard. Gym 24hrs, swimming pool on top 17th fllor is perfect view to city. They offer me a big welcome more fruit & 5 beautifull delicious cases.

If swimming can have hot water at 20 degrees & below it better than avg whole day 18 degrees below

I find the breakfast far too expensive so I go out and purchase food and coffee at a fraction of the cost. The location is great with many local restaurants and coffee houses very close.

honestly, there are no bad marks against the hotel. From the moment you arrive and the concierge opens the great gold and glass entrance doors you feel like a VIP. The staff are always courteous and helpful with a smile.

The hotel is modern and the room are spacious and well furnished. The bathroom has all the comforts, including a high-tech smart toilet. Room also includes a balcony with a nice view over Hanoi. The staff is extremely kind and always ready to assist.

Unfortunately, the staff did not speak a very good English and sometimes it had been hard to duly communicate and transfer the requests in an efficient way.

🤔 pool area seemed a bit bland, there were not many places to sit, no parasols, plants or decoration apart from the golden tiles (which already start to wear off)
