Out of noisy street and feels very peaceful. Great and nice rest, with large windows and very comfortable, room was very clean and big. Staffs very friendly and helpful too, we got CNY Ang Pau from the hotel, really surprising and touching.. thank you so much for the warming hearts feel.

Good location overall & about 15-20 min walk away from center. If you're looking for something further away from the Old Quarter noises this would be an option. I like that the place is inside an alley & not street front. There're plenty of food options around. The hotel itself is beautiful and our room was exactly like the photos. Pretty happy with the services too.

The room next door was being super loud around midnight that was my only issue. Other than that everything was great.

For anyone who would like to stay away from the noisy and densely crowded issues at the Old Quarter, while located not so far away from attractions (The Temple of Literature is literally just at the next block, with the National Fine Arts Museum within minutes by walking as well..... )... enough food stalls and restaurants, and coffee joints (both specialty ones and very local joints) for a visitor staying a week or so (and seriously most will be hopping around in other area most of the time I guess?) The hotel itself and the room I stayed in is wonderful. Nicely decorated, very clean and tidy. And much larger than expected. It's the suite I booked and I guess you can say it's a bit of the service apartment type but truly stylish (a nice mix of contemporary and traditional Vietnamese/SE Asian design and decors) and not too much. Very well equipped you can even find all the cookware tools and washing mashing machine and a small balcony good for hanging clothes (no view though). Staff are very friendly and helpful, and maybe because it's a small-ish relatively young team (with 2-3 seniors from my observation) it doesn't have that "old ass" attitude. And perhaps as while it is not that small a hotel (not large neither I think there are like around 20 rooms in total??) the vibe remains chill and calm. And it is indeed located inside an alley which makes it very quiet compared to many that are just at the main streets (without the traffic noise). So definitely for guests whom prefer a quiet stay (maybe not for party people lol). Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful vacation at the Elirina Hotel. The staff here is truly outstanding — special thanks to Ms. Tra and Ms. Le Linh at the front desk, who were always welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality made me feel at home. The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are well-maintained, comfortable, and well-organized. I was also impressed by the tranquility and peace of the location, situated in a charming, quiet alley — perfect for a relaxing getaway, yet still close to everything. I highly recommend the Elirina Hotel to anyone visiting this area. I will definitely stay here again.

I had a great experience staying at Eli Rina Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made everything smooth and welcoming. A special thank you to Cindy at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and patient during check-in. Our driver had trouble finding the way to the hotel, but Cindy guided us over the phone with clear directions and made sure we arrived safely and comfortably. To my pleasant surprise, I was also upgraded to a better room, which was such a lovely gesture. The upgraded room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view — it definitely made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I really appreciated the warm hospitality and excellent service. Would definitely recommend Eli Rina to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Everything was as expected - clean, nice people and extremely good location

-Somehow housekeeping claimed that several items from the minibar were eaten (which was not true) - noticed at check out on the invoice. So check papers before signing -Breakfast is not in the hotel itself but in another cafe nearby - vietnamese style breakfast might be too heavy for a european stomach, keep in mind before paying for the whole trip. We made a mistake - payed the whole amount and then decided to cancel it - the hotel agreed to give money back but the transaction might take up to 2 months!!!!!!

It was our first time to Vietnam, a trip my husband treated me to for retiring. We LOVED this location, which was a 23 minute walk from the Old Quarter and was away from the main tourist area. The room was very spacious and had great amenities. Beautiful bathroom with a soaker tub, comfortable bed with roomy bedroom, a living room with a TV that we were able to watch Netflix on, a well-stocked kitchen and ...get this...a washing machine. The staff were incredibly helpful and organized our taxis to and from the airport and our lovely trip to Ha Long Bay.

The first night there was some kind of an event in the cafe, which looked fun and exciting, however, it went rather late into the night, and the chatter/excitement did not dissipate until after 11pm. Other than the first night, we were very happy with the quiet atmosphere. One more thing, the safe in the room was not actually attached to anything, so it would have been easy to steal, if someone broke into the room (which was unlikely). But, in addition to being able to "lift" it, there were instructions on how to break into it if one had forgotten the security code.

We had a suite which was actually a huge 1 bedroom apartment with a brilliant kitchen. It was great to have so much space, and a washing machine. The location is excellent, and an easy walk in to the historic part of Hanoi. Train street is just minutes away, as is the main railway station. We could walk to pretty much everything we wanted to see, and there were shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful.

Sound proofing between floors is not brilliant. We could hear the plumbing from the bathroom in the room above us. There was no view from our windows at all and no balcony. Not an issue if you are out and about most of the time.
