This team of The Ann got my heart forever! In unlucky situation this hotel was the biggest luck I could imagine. I got hit by a motorbike on my first day in this hustly city of Hanoi and all of the team worried about me and made sure I got a good treatment at the hospital and to rearrange my flights back home. Besides that, this Hotel is a gem in this area: rooms are spacious, bed very comfy, Sauna & Jaccuzi next to the awesome rooftop bar and right under the rooftop pool. The gym is very spacious with open view, too. I highly recommend the breakfast, the drinks at the bar and the food (iced pineapple creme to fish, very yummy) but again, the best are the people working there. When I come back to Vietnam, I definitely stay at The Ann, best feeling of home far away.

Very clean, very nicely presented smart and modern. The staff were amazing, there was a man and woman on the desk and they absolutely outstanding each day I saw them, put a smile on my face every morning! Spa was great, I thought it was quite expensive but it was worth the money, lots of care taken and a very good job.

I loved everything

It was clean and quiet - I had a room facing away from the main road. The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you might need. The spa services are great although can get noisy when it’s busy. The roof top bar serves drinks and food and is a nicee place to hang out in the evenings. The gym is well equipped. The hot tub and sauna are good except you need to inform staff when you want to use it so that they can turn them on. The hot tub is very large and clean - it takes 1 hour to full. Convenience stores ATMs and pharmacies are close by. It’s sbout about a 30 min walk to the lake which is a little unpleasant due to limited sidewalk space - not a fault of the hotel - is like that all over central Hanoi. Its is very easy to catch a grab into town though. I also loved that they allow you to check out quite late for a small fee.

There is alot of tour bus traffic traffic which is not really noticeable except at the breakfast buffet. The buffet itself is fabulous with a huge selection of hot and cold items. But the guests are not always that clean about handling the food. I probably wouldn’t elect the breakfast option again but I would stay here again.

staff was very friendly and it was great to be able to use the swimming pool and spa area even after the check out which was great since we need to refresh before going to airport. We could have a proper shower after long hot / sweaty day in Hanoi.

The fact that the bathroom has glass walls, like transparent, even with curtains, it doesn't give you much privacy and also when you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, because the bathroom is not completely isolated, you might wake up your partner since you need to put the lights on and make the entire room very bright. I would prefer normal room with closed bathroom to not disturb other in the middle of the night.

The rooftop pool was really great. Water bottles in the room refreshed everyday and nice bathroom amenities. Staff were very helpful and warm. Area is quiet and doesn’t have a lot of noise at night.

The bed was too firm and I struggled to get a good sleep. Just far away enough from the tourist area that you have to take a cab.

This is such a lovely hotel in a great location, not far from the lake area. The hotel has it's own rooftop bar and restaurant and the food was tasty. The pool has great views as well. Somewhere to cool off after a long day sightseeing. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Hot and strong water. Staff are so helpful all through the hotel. Loved this hotel.

Huge king sized bed! The massage at the spa was very relaxing. Everyone was friendly at the hotel and helpful. The location of the hotel was wonderful. It was easy to walk to so many places and some great restaurants were a short distance away. Robes and ironing board with iron in the closet.

The breakfast selections were more geared for local clientele. However, it was possible for the "western palate" to find enough to feel nourished.

Extremely friendly reception staff and porters. Lifts were quick. Good facilities available with pool, spa, sauna, gym, rooftop bar and onsite restaurant

We had an issue with the TV in one room not working. They were willing to send up someone to fix it but at 9.30pm we did not want the interuption

I was promised, in response to my request to booking.com, that my American Airlines frequent flyer would be added to my account (and receipt). They said they cannot do it, booking.com should have done it. So I ended up totally disappointed with both companies
