I really enjoyed the spa. The pool on the roof is great, especially at night as you can look out at all the city lights while you swim. The jacuzzi/pool/sauna are a lovely combination. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room nicely decorated. The staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly. The location is within walking distance or a short cab ride to a lot of good stuff in the Old Quarter.

There was very little not to like. The controls on the sauna/steam room were a bit confusing (I didn't realize that the controls for the steam room were to the right of it - I thought the sauna control panel was for both - that's probably my bad for not looking more closely).

The location of hotel is not far from old quarter of Hanoi. It’s within walking distance (15 mins walking). The family room is spacious. There are 2 toilets in the room. It has separate shower room and bath. Bed was very comfortable, the bed linen and towels were clean, smooth, bright white and smell fresh. The hotel receptionist who checked us in recommended a travel agent who offered ha long bay and ninh bihn trips. The trips were wonderful. Tour guide spoke really good English. We spent a night in a cruise for ha long bay trip. Lapis hotel kept our suitcases for us for the night. The hotel offers laundry service and the laundry price is quite reasonable. The laundry was delivered to our room every day at 7 pm. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Ms. Quy especially very friendly and bubbly. Thank you Lapis Hotel for exceptional hospitality!!

The corridor smell in 6th floor was musty. Hotel might need to install air freshener like the fragrance in lobby area. Lobby area smell is very fresh and nice.

Spacious, comfortable and well equipped room. Beautifully clean. With fridge & coffee making facilities including cups & sachets of coffee /tea Great roof top infinity pool to relax at the end of the day . Located in the French Quarter which meant it was about 15-20 mins walk from many of the tourist sights in the Old Quarter. However, the benefit of being in the French Quarter meant the surrounding streets were wide, French style boulevards with good pedestrian footpaths rather than the cramped and hectic streets of the old quarter.

The laundry service was very expensive compared to the other hotels we stayed in

Very comfortable and stylish hotel. It has got everything you need for a holiday. We loved the spa. Friendly staff and convenient location, 15 minutes walk to the old quarter. We stayed there twice. The first 3 nights and then another 2 nights. The first night was not as good as we expected but the manager took action to rectify the issue and reassured that they would make improvements to insure guests expectations were met.

Some wall paper is peeling, need some fix.

Breakfast was good. I loved the smoked bassa fillets Good that you could also ask for a double expresso as the coffee wasn’t good.

We checked in with a standard room, that had no light coming in the window as you looked out to a concrete wall. It was an awful room very depressing. The bathroom wasn’t safe to get in over the bath to the shower. I paid for an upgrade. Which made our stay.

The service at this hotel was exceptional, nothing was too hard for the staff and they gave us many helpful tips of what to see and do in Hanoi. We had a few problems with paying for tours etc (our credit card) and the staff went out of their way to help us get it sorted out. The rooms were older style so very very comfortable and I was sad to leave. The pool on the 11th floor is lovely and one of our favorite's.

Not that we didn't like it but our only whinge about this hotel was it wasn't closer to the shopping ie shoe street, train street etc but saying that it was only a 15 min walk and or a 2 min taxi ride so I would still stay here again because of how great the service was.

Has a very opulent look, staff very helpful. The deluxe rooms are great, spacious and comfortable, views of the leafy, bustling street. The rooftop pool is nice with a view. Quieter location.

The pool however nice is very small with not many places to sit/lounge so if there’s more than 3-4 people can feel cramped. The breakfast was pricey and felt average. Location wise - if you want somewhere quiet and slightly away from the more touristy area - this is a great place, however you will have to make a short trip to night markets, popular street food sellers etc. These places are walkable 20+ minutes, which is not far, however you may find crossing the many busy streets daunting.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is an older style with a lot of marble and traditional furnishings. The rooms, which were superior rooms, weren't huge but totally adequate with a window overlooking the street; my daughter's room had an even larger window. The beds were extremely comfortable also the pillows. Both rooms had walk-in showers in the bathrooms and mine had a bath in addition. You do need to state when making the booking if a walk-in shower is required. Every requirement was provided in the bathroom except face flannels. The breakfast was adequate but not I think worth the extra cost of £14 if not included. The dining room was a good size and comfortable. We had a drink in the bar before going out to our event but the staff seemed uncertain of their role - maybe its not used much. The weather was bad so we didn't use the pool. the sound-proofing was excellent, we never heard a thing.

Only the provision of face flannels in the bathroom. Experienced staff serving on the bar.

This is a nice hotel with nice pool on the topfloor and spa free accesable. We had a promotionele price and so it was interesting for us. The room was around 60dollar/ night. For that price it was good price/ quality!

Do not pick a standard room if you like soms air. The have a window on the picture, but behind it there’s a wall :-(. I felt inprisonned. I asked for an upgrade, which they provided for 10 dollar, so that was 👍, much better!!

The room was very large and the bathroom was beautiful and a shower was awesome. A nice swimming pool with a good view Good location not too far from everything and a convenient store just around the corner

The fridge is not very cold. It’s more like a wine fridge than a cold drinks fridge. The coffee they put in the room is not to the liking of Westerners. Please put in some Nescafe or some Maccona instant coffee and some milk in the fridge.
