The water of the pool is very cold and I didn't go because of that, which is too bad because one of the reason I chose this hotel was because of the pool. Laundry was a bit expensive. Power sockets were far from bed, they gave me an electrical socket extension lead

excellent location in District 2, close to many coffee shops and restaurants. very quiet the restaurant next door had a selection of options for breakfast that were all very good and really nicely presented! The food is very delicious! I have returned to this hotel a few times while traveling around southeastern Asia and every time I stayed I was upgraded to a bigger room and the hotel offered to keep my suitcase while I went on my travels. I have also received a complimentary treatment in their spa! The attention to detail is what I like the most. Little notes on my bed and a piece of chocolate as my afternoon treat were very nice touches. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of luxury, amazing design, attentive stuff, great amenities and just a good night sleep!

I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels we have ever been in. What made it for us was the fact that the hotel had character and you felt you were in Ho chi Minh and not in any city which happens very often. The breakfast was unbelievably good. the staff were very calm and nice and we appreciated the fact that they gave us a late check out since our flight was late at night. we will definitely go back

the location is a bit out but in any case it means that you ae in a quiet zone which is nice. there are not much choice of restaurant near by but the ones that are close to the hotel are excelent.

There are not many hotels in the world that feel so "cared for". The entire hotel is filled with beautiful smells from every corner with natural herbs like pandan leaves in the lift, cinnamon sticks in the wardrobe, etc. I'm not sure if the provided hotel soaps are natural, but they are amazing for my sensitive skin and doesn't have the usual labels to indicate they've taken it from another brand. Everything feels in-house, personal, and made with love. Rooms are extremely clean, hotel staff are incredibly helpful and sincere- a rare attribute these days. We had a guest waiting for us in the lobby and when they brought our welcome drinks upon check-in, they offered our guest too without us asking. The location's incredible- a short walk from the main street abuzz with cafes and restaurants in Thao Dien, and there's a cute store right across where you could ask for a coconut and sit in a tranquil lane (rare in hcmc) to sip it slowly, watching the cats and dogs go by. Definitely recommended!

It's a little too dark in decor, but it's all just quality wood and black marble. There's enough windows however to light up the area during the day, and lights are well selected so it's not too bad!

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel - beautiful decor with lots of character but also spotlessly clean and extremely well-equipped. The restaurant and art gallery were also lovely and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I loved my room, including the view from the balcony over the city, and Thao Dien was a great area to stay in -very walkable with lots of great restaurants and cafes and small art projects. Would definitely go back!

Minor point but the pool was freezing - I had a few very short and bracing swims and enjoyed the views but amazed at how cold it was in such hot weather!

Stylish, the staff is very accomodating. Very nice pool, offering good views over the city.

Breakfast: the food is very good, no complaints. However - on a business tripp you may just want to grab a quick bite: In and out in 10 minutes. But since the breakfast is in the next next building, with menu, table service and all, you should plan for 30 minutes. It is worth it, though. Minor point: It took me a while to figure out how to turn all the lights off.

The property has a very nice character. It is not your typical corporate hotel, but one that offers character

If I can mention one thing that it can be improved would be the payment method. I am used to make the payment at the check out but here the payment is split in 2. Half at arrival (which sometimes, like it my case, is after a long journey where the only thing you want to do is a shower and sleep) and the second payment half way through the stay.

Do you want to know what is paradise? Just experience Amanaki Hotel, the best I ever seen in my life. Breakfast is not a no limit buffet, but a real restaurant with a menu and it is so delicious!!! I loved the decoration and the welcome from the staff. I was in the amazing room number 1704, and I don't know if it better can exist. Hope to be able to enjoy again this perfect hotel.

Amazing, friendly, helpful staff. Great location. Touristy but better than district 1. Decor was beautiful and felt authentically Asian. Much nicer than the usual sterile, white/beige experience. Extremely clean.

Not many breakfast options (breakfast is the same as the lunch menu). If you don't like pho, paté or avocado on toast there isn't much to choose from. The pancakes only served with a chutney on the first day. Several options were 'sold out' on multiple days. Pool was cold and large spa was empty for our entire stay.

Stunning hotel. Beautiful rooms. Fabulous views. Very helpful staff.

I would have scored this hotel a 10 but for THREE things. 1. The location is slightly out of the way, but access into the city is available on the newly opened metro, about five mins walk away. 2. Although there is a beautiful pool, it's totally covered by a roof, and there is nowhere to sunbathe either by the pool or outside the hotel itself. 3. There is no bar .
