Hang Mua Bamboo Homestay was a cute little property in the countryside very close to Hang Mua Caves and Trang An boat rides starting point. The owner was quite lovely - very flexible and helpful in providing us with facilities like motorbike rental, bicycle, hats, petrol and luggage storage. The breakfast was also very tasty, home-style but generous! The rooms were clean, well-maintained with all basic amenities provided.

Would have been good to have a top floor view so we could view the rice field views.

So cozy, clean and with a pool that is much needed after a long day! The staff is a really kind who will help you with everything including good advise. You can have a bike for free and a motorbike for 150k vt a day. Everything worked very well and they helped us a lot. They serve breakfast even if u wake up late… (bread with omelette is goood!) The area is perfect, better then Tam Coc which is more crowded. The ride to Trang an by moto from the HomeStay was easy and beautiful as well as the one to Tam Coc… Our last day we also could leave the bags there during the day! We loved our stay and we will recommend it for sure to everyone!

Very warm welcome by the owner and all family members from the beginning to our departure day. Very kind and great service. You are able to choose your breakfast in the evening for the next day and there is no fixed given breakfast time. Wake up and go to breakfast whenever you want. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and have enough space for a longer stay. Complementary Mineral water and coffee facilities. The homestay has a beautiful garden area where you can take a nap in the afternoon and also has a swimming pool in the summer time. Located away from the touristik main street there are a variety of small shops and restaurants nearby. To go out in the evening to the town order a Grab and go there by 10 minutes. You are also able to use their bycicled free of charge to ride around. We had to check out very early in the morning, so the owner prepared a small breakfast to go for us, which was very kind! We enjoyed our stay and book again on any time!

absolutely loved everything about it. i loved the quietness of the property - away from the noise of the city/crowds. it rlly give you a sense of what the local life is like. it was centrally located and u can bike everywhere. there are restaurants nearby so don’t worry about getting food late at night. the view was amazing as well. i had the garden view and it was equally amazing. on one of the days during my stay, i could see the sunset from one window and full moon at the other window. their breakfast were absolutely amazing too! very very generous and helpful people. despite the language barrier, we could understand each other using google translate.

Such a good location close to all the attractions of ninh binh. We rented a scooter from them one day to get to some further attractions which was easy and cheap. For the close attractions they gave us bicycles for free. Beds comfortable , air con great. They even upgraded us free of charge as it was quite season. Food delicious for breakfast we had the Vietnamese noodle soup. The best part about the place was the friendly staff. They are very kind they didn’t speak English but used google translate to help us with transport / tourism advice. Would highly recommend this place.

The location is amazing—just a short distance from all the major attractions in the area. They provide free bicycles, making it easy to reach nearby sites. For example, Hang Mua Cave is only 500 meters away, and Trang An is around 2.5 kilometers. The staff is incredibly helpful and polite. They assisted us in planning our itinerary, gave us great tips on where to go, offered discounts at some places, and even booked our taxi to our next destination, Ha Long Bay. The taxi cost 2 million VND and was much cheaper and more convenient than any option we found online. The breakfast is excellent—you can choose one food item and one drink from their menu. The food was so delicious that we ended up having lunch there as well. After our morning activities, returning to the comfort of the hotel for lunch and a dip in the pool felt like paradise. They even gave us a snack bag and water bottles when we checked out. Such a lovely place!

Location was fantastic. Highly recommend staying in a small hamlet with a rural atmosphere and local environment. So much nicer than Tam Coc which is super touristy. Owners were super lovely and always helpful. Breakfast every morning was a highlight - was included in the price and could pick something different every day. Included a huge plate of fruit too. Room was big and beds were very comfortable. We used the homestays every day - location was very central to everything we wanted to do. Easy and super scenic cycling. You are really missing out if you don’t cycle. Lots of really delicious restaurants for lunch and dinner in walking distance and small shops for snacks.

* whether was extremely hot the first day (38 degrees) and the aircon was not able to cool down the room. Second night (cooler day) was already a lot better

The staff were amazing, they did absolutely everything they could to help us with anything, their English isn't amazing but they use the translation app to talk. A good range of breakfast options which all tasted great. We also borrowed bikes which didn't cost us anything which was good fun and my children loved riding around the area (no hills, woop woop!!) A really lovely homestay and we would definitely stay again! Such value for money!

Our best stay in Vietnam! Room was beautiful, spacious, with great views. Bed was very comfortable, hosts dont speak english but we used google translate and they were very nice and helpful. The allowed us to check in very early in the morning after our night bus, which was super nice. Breakfast is simple yet delicious, we also got plenty of water for them, even when we checked out! Bikes are for free and in a very good shape. I only regret that we were able to stay onlu for 1 night.
