This place was a little slice of heaven, if you like quiet and nature. I biked around the area for three days and this was the most unique and quiet place I encountered! My cabin was comfortable and private. The restaurant sold really delicious food for a very reasonable price! There were no bikes for rent, but it was very simple to walk 5 minutes to the hotel next door and rent a bike for 3 days. The nearby rice fields, limestone karst landscape, and scenery were breath-taking. The owners were very kind and accommodating, helping me with several arrangements for the area. There was some really good birding nearby; the marshes and rice fields were full of kingfishers, herons, rails, stonechats, and other good things. A collard scops owl patrolled the grounds at night. I enjoyed hanging out with a sweet little kitten in-between adventures too. Highly recommend!

The location was amazing. Right in the middle of the cliffs and bush with animals all around, delicious food and welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

This location is amazing for some but wouldn’t suit others. We were in the room up against the cliff wall. About a good 5-10 minute walk from the hotel and reception area. The room was clean and great value for the price but also basic. The shower is not fancy, there are some gaps in the door and bathroom areas that bugs could get into and so there is a mosquito net pitched above the bed in case this happens. The air con doesn’t work as well as the big hotels but everything around you - the scenery, animals and authenticity make up for that 100 times in our opinion.

This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The place isn’t fancy, and the rooms could use a bit of maintenance, but honestly, you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s surrounded by nature, and I felt like I didn’t need to go anywhere else. Just walking around or jumping into one of the bamboo rafts was magical. Seeing goats, fish, and squirrels right from my room was amazing. I truly believe the people are what make a place special. Huge thanks to Phol, Luan, Trung, and Loan for the great dinners, tips, football games and more. If you love nature and don’t mind a simple room, this place is perfect. I’ll definitely be back!

The location is amazing, you are basically in the jungle but you are so close to the main town by bicycle and really close by scooter. It is a very relaxing place, with nature all around you, and I would definitely stay again, I chose the small chalet and it was perfect, and not to far to walk to from the main reception, it had a little outside space with 2 hammocks. The breakfast was amazing, simple choices eg big pancakes, or egg bahn mi, or noodles and soup. The coffee was good, you had to pay extra for it. There are lovely dogs there and 3 small cats. We hired the electric bicycles one afternoon and they were really high tech and new very cool! It is close to a lovely family restaurant that we would walk to (18 mins) or cycle to (5 mins) called Mountain restaurant. The accommodation is basic but had, aircon, a fan and fridge, just be sure to leave any food with reception or secure in the fridge and door and windows closed. There is a pool table as well and even weights and lots of seating by the common area to relax and take in the view.

The bed was a little hard, no lock on the door or safe. Sometimes the staff were a bit zoned out and it wasn't exceptional customer service but still friendly, the room wasn't cleaned daily but that was fine for me and you have to ask for extra loo roll. I think a few improvements and this could be a 10 out of 10, if you are in the hospitality industry you need to go above and beyond, like the services in Hanoi.

Gorgeous, relaxing one-of-a-kind homestay, set in the middle of what feels like a nature reserve. The manager, Trung, is passionate about what he does and does a great job of bringing together guests with “family style” Vietnamese dinners. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, yet efficient and friendly. Adorable cats and dogs abound, and there are lots of cute touches, like paddle boats. Perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, and reset your senses to the sounds and smells of nature.

the staff were friendly and helpful, the location itself was beautiful, amazing, like a film set, though a little isolated if you did not have your own transport or ride a motorbike. The bungalow was very rustic with a verandah and view of the little river. We went for a boat paddle along the river surrounded by vertical limestone cliffs, absolutely amazing. Even saw fireflies at night time which was excellent, the only ones we saw on our entire trip. Food was great

Some of the surrounding bungalows are in need of repair, the place just needs a bit more tender loving care.

Absolutely beautiful place and super nice staff. The location is a bit further from town but so beautiful it doesn't matter. You sleep right next to a river and surrounded by mountains and can even see fireflies at night. We spent 2 nights in a dorm and 2 nights in a private bungalow and both were very nice. Dorm is a 4-bed room with big beds and each bef has a mosquito net. It is great value for the price. The superior bungalow was amazing with a balcony right over the river which was absolutely beautiful. There were also cute and super friendly dogs and cats on the property :)

Ideal location, away from the touristy Tam Coc and close to the Hang Mua village. Very unique property and grounds with private creek and lake. Actually looks better in real life than the photos. The cabins are comfortable and the shared bathrooms are okay too.

The food from the restaurant is a bit hit and miss. There are rats or mice given the setting in nature, and they will enter your room even if you don't have food. For some reason there is a missing plank in the floor of the double room, which allows them to enter freely. Not sure why this hasn't been fixed.

The host was amazing and the staff very welcoming and ready to help us with any information we needed. They also told us what is worth visiting. The view from our room and the location of the stay are just out of this world. Loved every minute spent there.

They organise a family dinner 3 times a week and they invited us without telling us that we have to pay for it. We just found out about this at the check-out and it was 280 000 vnd per person. Also, do not ask them to call a cab for you because it will be very expensive, 3 times more than on the grab app.

This is an absolutely stunning location! It’s like walking into a whole new world! We only stayed for one night but man, we wish we stayed longer! The staff is also so impressive! Extremely helpful with everything! We rented a motorbike, and even got a bus to Hanoi right from the hotel. It was all so easy! The restaurant was very tasty as well! This is a really really special place with really great history as well- it’s been in the family for years and they really have made it special! Stay here if you want a magical dose of nature as well as human kindness! I highly recommend!
