I recently had the pleasure of spending ten incredible days at L’Alya in Vietnam, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that made us feel right at home. The resort itself is a stunning oasis, beautifully designed with luxurious amenities that cater to every need. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The attention to detail is impeccable, and it truly feels like a slice of paradise. What stood out the most during our stay was the professionalism and warmth of the entire hotel staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Whether it was at the reception, in the restaurant, or at the spa, we were always met with genuine kindness and a willingness to help. They anticipated our needs and made us feel like valued guests, which made our stay even more special. The dining options were exquisite, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that showcased the local cuisine. Each meal felt like a celebration, and the service was impeccable. I also appreciated the range of activities available, from relaxing by the pool to exploring the beautiful surroundings. The staff was always eager to share recommendations and assist with any arrangements we needed. L’Ayla Ninh Van Bay was a lovely resort, exactly what was needed at the end of our Vietnam trip. The staff were lovely especially our butler An. The area is beautiful, we stayed in one of the hill top villas which had stunning views. There is a lot of choice on the menus and breakfast buffet. The WiFi across resort was great. You can spot monkeys playing in the trees. There is a free airport shuttle at certain times of the day.

Although they do have a lot of options for vegans one of these options on that menu was pesto pasta. The pesto itself was made with parmesan and there was parmesan on the top of the pasta however it wasn’t vegan parmesan and contained beef rennet. There isn’t much negative we would say about our stay but if you’re vegan just keep yourself right.

The location and smaller scale of the resort made this the perfect getaway. Probably the highlight was the view and private pool in our hilltop villa, but all of the services, dining, and activities (snorkeling, spa, sunset cruise) were terrific.

We were fortunate to have excellent weather during our stay, which was a plus given that so many of the resort's strengths center around the beautiful outdoor setting. Also, L'Alya uses a "butler" approach to coordinating services, which was a bit odd for us as more independent-style travelers - but there is an option to dial up or down the level of such services provided.

We've had a great time at L'Alya and did not want to leave. Our butler, Quyen, is very attentive and professional. All our requests are resolved promptly & my diet preference is taken into account when she delivers sweets & snacks at 3pm daily. The breakfast is fantastic! Both Vietnamese and Continental options are really good, though we prefer the Vietnamese options more. Nested in a bay, the water here is so calm, perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling and swimming. We did enjoy the private diner and everything here, we will be back!

The hiking guide should speak better English and should not rely on me (a Vietnamese guest) to translate. While I can do so for my husband who is a foreigner, I'm here for holiday and hiking under the heat is quite exhausting to speak & translate everything back to him and to other guests. It's the guide's job to communicate to all guests in both English & Vietnamese. As others have mentioned, lunch & dinner options are much more expensive than in town while the quality is not superior, furniture also needs an upgrade as it's getting tired. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed everything here.

Don’t hesitate to book a stay at this resort. It is incredible. Amazing service, incredible views, in a beautiful part of the world. Our butler, Jackson, arranged everything for us and looked after us for our stay. The address many activities to do here including walking in the forest, kayaking, swimming, cycling. Cooking classes and the spa, or you can simply relax around your private pool, the main pool or the beach. Our week spent at this resort was excellent.

We enjoyed the resort very much! Beautiful villas are built in a way that doesn't disrupt nature and wildlife in the national park. Staff taking care of gardens, nature, sea, animals. We enjoyed few acitivities: nature exploration (it was amazing experience, gentle walk around the resort, we saw one monkey family and learnt a lot about plants growing in the resort which are also used in the restaurant), spa (we got the best massages ever-vietnamese traditional massage and swedish), hiking (fun experience, easy climb with our guide, wear good shoes and long pants because it can be slippery), kayaking (couldn't go far because of the wind but it was fun and easy to organize). We had our batler Anh who introduced us to the resort and helped us with anything we needed.

The venue and the staff were truly wonderful. We were taken care of very well by our butler Diep: she was amazing! We stayed in one of the villas on the hill and the view was very beautiful. They have plenty of activities to take part in but unfortunately because it was raining during our stay we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the outdoor activities.

In general prices there were a bit expensive, but probably something you would expect from a 5 stars resort. Nevertheless we felt there were no options available on the cheaper side, especially for example on the spa: every treatment was very expensive!

We spent 4 days on this gorgeous peninsula resort just north of Nha Trang. We had a beach house which which we shared with our son and his girlfriend. The beach house was beautiful, with its own pool. The bedrooms and main en-suite were spectacular with an outside shower (which I love). The outside has sun beds and an outside cabana facing straight into the beach. The rooms were fully serviced every day. The restaurant provided a good selection of Vietnamese and western dishes and the beach bar, a good selection of delicious cocktails, wines and beers. We were taken to the ‘fish farm’ in the bay where we selected fresh oysters, crabs and lobsters. They were delicious but without doubt the oysters were the stars of the show and easily the nicest we have ever eaten. Thanks to the restaurant manager and chef for accompanying us there. But of course we cannot fail to mention the beautiful Vietnamese staff, so caring , polite, humble and friendly. Too many to pick out individually, they were all fantastic. Special thanks of course to Jayce Dat, our butler who just made everything so special for us and attended to our every need. Thank you so much, we will definitely return

Amazing, clean and huge private villas designed in a very descrete way. The butler service, which can be customised, is very helpful and takes care of all your needs and questions. The facilities are all in good condition and the gym has all you need. The beach is accompanied by a beautiful pool and the tranquility is really special. The trails around the resort let you explore the beautiful nature.

Some of the restaurant‘s pricing was a bit intransparent and felt a bit random. We are vegetarians and can only review this based on the veggie menu, the food is top notch!

The property is located in a very secluded in Ninh Van Bay. It’s great to be away from the city’s hustle and bustle. Plenty of greenery. Amazing villas that were very private with a pool. The staff were amazing and kind. Our butler Jackson took very good care of us. The food was amazing too. The beach was very clean with a beach bar. Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to be back.
