The house is well decorated with many local artistic features! Locating in a green area, the famous pomelo village in Hue city - Thuy Bieu, the house is the fusion between old and new architecture concepts. The staff is super friendly!

The space is really nice with great concept and pretty design related to Hue citadel architecture and modern art. The housekeeper - Minh is really caring and approachable. He's really responsive and proactive in providing us good advices for Hue traveling and also prepare great breakfast for us every morning. Breakfast options were great with Bun Bo Hue, Banh loc & banh nam (he said they're from the locals nearby) with fresh herbal water and coffee and all well served to us! Did not have much time to enjoy more experiences at the place (like cinema~) but definitely come back if we have chance! Location is not really far from the center if you rent a bike, I like exploring some kind of local vibe like this more than the busy streets in the center.

Sound-proof could be considered as we were interrupted with many laughters from the next-door room in the midnight :P

From the moment we booked, the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. They provided detailed information in advance and even arranged airport pickup and early check-in for us. We received a warm welcome, with a thoughtful introduction to the homestay and its stories. Our room was cozy and tastefully decorated with traditional Hue touches. I especially loved the Hue-themed book and the local treats like "banh in"—perfect with coffee. We stayed in the Vy Da room near the garden, which offered peace and privacy. Mornings with birdsong and greenery were truly relaxing. They also helped arrange our transfer to Hoi An, which made our trip much easier.

The architecture of the place is beautiful and the host was beyond friendly and helpful. We loved as well the Vietnamese breakfast served each morning, and the coffee they prepared was great too. It was very peaceful and looking at the garden from the bedroom was a great view to wake up to.

It’s not necessarily a bad thing, and we knew about this, but it is far away from the city center (15 min with motorbike) and sometimes taxis are hard to find. If you have nice weather and drive a motorbike it’s no problem but we had rainy days so it’s was a bit of a problem. The host anyways was super helpful in trying to find taxis for us :)

The homestay has two garden areas—one at the front and one at the back—both of which are spacious and filled with greenery. Sitting here in the morning, enjoying the scenery while sipping a cup of coffee, is truly relaxing. If you love nature and tranquility, you will definitely fall in love with this place. Additionally, the laundry service here is quick, clean, and reasonably priced, making it very convenient for guests who stay longer. If you plan to visit, consider coming during the Thanh Tra season—a time when you can experience this local specialty fruit. It’s not only delicious but also comes with various activities that allow you to enjoy the unique flavors and culture of the region.

Since I didn't want to take a taxi, I used the airport shuttle service provided by the homestay. The car was clean, the driver was polite and punctual. Additionally, the homestay offers motorbike rentals, including both manual and automatic bikes, at reasonable prices — very convenient for exploring Hue. The homestay also helps arrange cultural experience tours and organized explorations of Hue. Thanks to this, I had a very interesting trip — not only visiting famous landmarks but also hearing many fascinating stories about Hue’s culture. A big plus of the homestay is the shared common room, which is perfect for doing yoga, watching movies, or holding small group meetings. I had a lovely evening there, watching a movie with others in a cozy atmosphere.

Although the location is not central, a newly built bridge nearby now makes it much more convenient to visit tourist attractions. Thanks to this, getting around is easier while still allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that sets this place apart from the city's hustle and bustle. The sound of insects and the surrounding nature create an extremely pleasant ambiance. Nhan and Huyen are amazing staff members—always friendly and ready to chat, making guests feel right at home. Their warm hospitality made our stay more memorable than ever. Near the homestay, there is also a small restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of visiting a loved one’s home. The food there is delicious and offers a wonderful experience. Additionally, if you have a long stay at the homestay, the rooms will be cleaned upon request, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy heartfelt hospitality, this is definitely the perfect choice!

Even though I only stayed in Hue for one day, I had some truly delightful experiences. Besides the accommodation, the team at De Hué helped me engage in local activities: cycling around the village, visiting a garden house, painting, swimming and paddleboarding on the Perfume River, having dinner at a garden house, and breakfast at a traditional bun bo restaurant. Everything was new and exciting to me. Thank you very much, Mr. Minh. The room was very tidy and beautiful, with a spacious, clean, and comfortable bed that provided me with a great night’s sleep. My room on the second floor had a view of the lush, green garden behind the property, which was very refreshing and airy.

The bicycle was a bit small for me ☹️

We had a great stay at De Hué Space! The architecture of the homestay is really impressive, harmoniously combining modern and traditional elements, creating a delicate and cozy space. The service was also excellent – the host was extremely attentive, not only preparing a delicious breakfast, but also snacks in the evening, which made it feel extremely friendly and close. A big plus is that the homestay has free bikes to explore the city, accompanied by helpful suggestions from the host about interesting attractions and activities in Hue.

However, the location of the homestay is a bit far from the center, it takes about 10 minutes by motorbike to reach the main area of the city. This may be a small minus for those who want to be right in the center, but in return, the quiet and comfortable space of the homestay is a big plus. Overall, this is an ideal choice for those looking for a warm and memorable stay in Hue.

The names of the rooms are inspired by the landmarks along the Perfume River in Hue: This evokes many stories related to Hue’s culture, which I enjoyed hearing passionately shared during conversations. The room we stayed in was named Chợ Dinh, and it overlooked a beautifully lush garden. There are many interesting tourist spots around the home: We were introduced to a bike tour (available for free at the home) that took us to nearby landmarks in one day. It included unique experiences such as visiting a garden house, a incense-making village, a temple, swimming and paddleboarding on the Perfume River, breakfast with charcoal-grilled beef noodles, and a delicious Hue-style lunch. The support services are always available and of high quality: We easily and safely arranged airport transfers and a bus to Hoi An.

A small downside of De Hué is that booking a grab or taxi to the city center can be a bit challenging and may involve a longer wait.
