We had an extremely comfortable 3 nights stay. The bed was firm but not hard and there was a choice of 2 pillows each - one thick and the other one flatter. The air con was so quiet we barely noticed it was on. We slept really well. Contrary to what other reviews mentioned our room was nicely appointed, it must have been renovated (we were on the 6th floor). The buffet breakfast was very good with a good selection of continental/cooked breakfast and Vietnamese selection. We had 3 breakfasts there and it was only on our last day that there was a big group but we still managed to get a table. The staff, whether at reception or in the restaurant were extremely kind and helpful. There are free very well maintained bicycles guests can use (used them on our first day and cycled 35km without any problems). The hotel is under 10 minutes walk from the train station. Fantastic value for money.

Our terrace was tiny with no furniture.

Perfect for our between destinations short stay (wanted somewhere with a pool, close to the train station, between checking out of one hotel and travelling by a sleeper train later that evening).

People are nice. Room is ok. Some sort of balconey with a view on working sites. Elevator can be noisy at night. Cleanliness is ok. Not really sound proof. They are trying. The amenities are regular. I would say that it is a pretty basic place. It has good standards. But it is lacking the extra. The things that makes you stay longer or want to come back. Nothing of the ordinary. Their breakfast is ok but that's it, the room is ok, but not something special. It is somehow at walking distance of many places I was interested to go. The elevator with transparent back is the only thing that could make it special. For the rest... It is just one of these big spaces for professional meetings. They have a small nice area around the swimming pool and a nice terrasse around their restaurant to see the city.

Nothing really, just nothing that makes it interesting. My ceiling was leaking above the bath tub when I took my bath. Beds were not as comfortable as they can be in vietnam. I like the good firm Vietnamese bed. They are doing some improvement. So it should be better and better.

Both the reception and the rest of the staff were very helpful. I had booked at a neighbouring place because Hotel Mondial was fully booked on Saturday due to a festival (I had booked 2 nights at Mondial). The other place was, however, lucked without contact options. Hotel Mondial's reception called other hotels for a solution without success. Finally, they offered a more expensive room at their own hotel, which I immediately accepted.

The location was quite far from the Imperial City. But close to the railway station

Great location (see the map), close to historical centre and busy streets with a lot of coffee shops. Good furniture, not too old, our rooms must have been newly renovated and painted, quite clean as well. The swimming pool was clean and quite modern if a bit small, same with the gym. Towels were provided. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of dishes, fruit and drinks, fresh and tasty. There was a lot of staff, always smiling and ready to help with anything.

The bathroom did have a little mould around the bathtub. Bath towels were stained by makeup from previous guests (probably unwashable) and were a bit worn.

We went low session so there was hardly any guests. o Value for money o Breakfast had a mix of western and Vietnamese. o reception friendly o Quiet rooms, couldn't hear traffic etc. o Clean o Near the train station (+ for us) o Had more of a local feel in the area. o Nice wine in upstairs restaurant. o Good pool

o The restaurant was a bit expensive, I wouldn't have minded too much but the beef was really incrediblely tough and chewy. The following we didn't mind but may be useful for others... o Location - it's a 30min walk to the citadel and 30min walk to the centre where most other hotels/bars/restaurants are. . o it is a little bit dated o the gym is 3 cardio machines, maybe spied some Dumbells. o if I remember the beds were a little firm but noted this was quite common in Vietnam.

The pool looks good (unfortunately I haven't used it yet). Very easy to get Grab taxi and food delivery to this location. The neighbourhood has a V Mart only 5 mins walk away and many coffee shops and some restaurants.

Excellent location, easy walk from train station although I would not recommend the train from Hanoi. Reception staff friendly and very helpful. Wifi was best I have had in Vietnam, made a few calls to friends in Australia.

No faults at all, very easy walking to everything I wanted. Hue is less intense and more relaxed than most places in Vietnam. Great coffee shops in abundance.

Hotel is comfort, you have everything you need. Rooms are big and they have bife breakfast. People are kind and we had a wonderful stay there. I recomend this hotel everyone who want to see Hue and Vietnam history without paying a lot of money for accomodation. In hotel restaurant you can have also lunch and dinner. Everything OK.
