The staff were exceptional after one of us left their passport in a safe in the previous city. They arranged a car and driver and micromanaged the situation by also making phone calls in the local language. This and a few other interactions highlighted the high level of care from their staff. We've travelled for many years and this was one of our best people experiences.

Bit of a noisy neighbourhood in thr mornings but you are in a city. No drama really.

Earlier check in; young lady receptionist on the 13th morning shift(sorry forgot her name!) was very helpful and efficient and she helped us to communicate with her management for cancelling our last day of stay; next to market; restaurants 10 mins walk to the backpacker's lane (Madame Thu on the Wheels - highly recommended for F & B + cheap local car rentals). Post office also short walk away. Mainly cater to foreign group tours so was nice and quiet during their ins + outs.

Great location, extremely clean - the rooms were attended to everyday with tea coffee and water supplied. The room was quiet we slept really well. A/c worked great. The staff were so kind and couldn’t do enough for us. We were welcomed with a drink and information about Hue and various tours. There is a cafe on the ground floor of the hotel which was really good. I would come back and stay again!

I asked your personnel to book for us a street food walk with a price mentioned on the document but she add a commission of more than 12%. I said you added a commission and both said no they said it was VAT. Then I said do not book anything for us, we will do it and when we did it it was the agreed price without any added VAT, I do not think it is very honest and have been very disappointed by your behavior.

The Alba is a very decent hotel located in a comparably quiet side street in the center of Hue. The staff was friendly and helpful (as anywhere in Vieynam during my vacation). The room was spacious, well presented and equipped with beyond standard amenities like tea maker.

There's nothing in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and I would wonder why any hotel was built in this location. It is by no means a dark corner or otherwise anticipated potentially dangerous, but there's nothing positive either, no life, no bars, no restaurants, nothing to visit. The night life area is a 15 minute walk, and the emperor's palace perhaps 30 minutes.

I booked a two day stay and got a free upgrade to the Alba Spa Hotel. Overall the stay is fantastic. What I like most are their staffs. Everyone is so friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast is great and delicious with so many options. The room is clean and spacious with very comfortable mattress. They also quickly helped me arrange motorbike rental and kindly gave us a free shower, because it was really hot in Hue in summer, after we checked out, The slight drawback is that you have to walk a bit more to the night market and tourist attraction. When the weather is nice, the walk could be pleasant. But in summer when temperature is high, it would be a bit struggle. With that said, I will still live in this hotel, as I love their staffs and facilities as well as yummy breakfasts.

Not the hotels fault but on the last night we were woken up in the middle of the night by the loudest bus tour staying at the hotel and then by them at 6 am. Was a shame…as it’s the first time we noticed how bad the sound proofing was

The room is spacious for a family of three. I also like the bathroom's layout with three separated sections and big enough, just a little concern about the drainage. There is a balcony but blocked by surroundings, no views actually. I would come back to this hotel but prefer the upper floors.

Nothing really. The bathroom was a little small and dark. Not in an ideal location but workable. Most good restaurants were closer to the river, a 10 to 15 min. Walk.

Dear Traveler, and visitor to Hue, You will find an oasis of comfort, and attention to detail, at the Alba Spa Hotel in Hue. I have stayed on previous occasions, and the kindness and comfort are signature trademarks of this fine hotel. Priced in the mid-range, and centrally located, the Alba has excellent (spa) facilities, and a generous breakfast to suit most tastes; (yes, an omelet station, and Asian and Western favorites, including healthier selections). Rooms are generous in size with extremely comfortable beds, with all toiletries and amenities. Most include balconies. I especially appreciate the attentiveness of Ms. My Linh, in reception; ...who is quite capable to handle any request with a polite and kind demeanor; ...certainly an asset at the Alba. I summation, do not hesitate to book a comfortable stay at the Alba Spa Hotel in Hue.
