Absolutely loved it here! The service was incredible they were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Especially Quynh, Thu and Huong! The facilities were exceptional and couldn’t fault them in anyway. We made full use of the gym, pool and sauna and were very happy with these. The breakfast was also great with a huge variation to choose from. We have very high standards for cleanliness and these were not only met but exceeded. Definitely recommended this place and we will definitely be back.

We loved everything, the only thing which could improve is that the tv is slightly outdated but that’s very minor

Thanh Lich Hotel truly exceeded all expectations and stands out as the best hotel I experienced in Vietnam. The service was simply exceptional—personalized, thoughtful, and far beyond what you’d expect from a 4-star property. In fact, the quality of service, cleanliness, and comfort could easily rival any 5-star hotel. Special praise to the hotel management, who clearly understand Western standards and have created a unique and professional environment in central Vietnam. Honestly, they could lead workshops or teach other hoteliers in Vietnam what true international hospitality looks like. Warm thanks to Hang from the restaurant for her kind service and helpful insights about the city and local food, which she shared with me from the beautiful rooftop restaurant and terrace. Also, a big thank you to Hoài, Thu, and Anh from the reception—especially Hoài, who was incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived. She arranged a private tour, clearly explained the highlights of the Imperial City, tombs, and pagoda, and even recommended a dragon boat ride. She went the extra mile by reviewing restaurants on my wish list and giving great feedback. Her excellent English made everything smooth and enjoyable. I felt completely at home here and can confidently recommend Thanh Lich Hotel to everyone. My only regret is not extending my stay!

Very spacious room, nice bathroom, great breakfast with a view, very friendly staff, good location. Great spa and pool.

On the second floor our room was right in front of the elevator; due to the way of the doors, we could hear everything and it was loud. We were also unlucky as some other guests were extremely rude and made ridiculous noise and all sorts of behaviours in the corridor, disturbing everyone from 5am. It would be good to show consideration for others and realise you are not alone at home. Also, although not a real issue, our window looked out directly onto a wall. It would be nice to know this in advance, as we were expecting floor to ceiling windows with some views of the city.

Great location. Nice street, easy to walk around. Amazing breakfast speead with plenty of options for vegetarians; huge variety of fruits. Well equipped gym. Didnt find the time to try the indoor gym with a view nor the bamboo spa. Polite and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. Spacious clean bathroom. Good wifi.

Not enough power sockets. None near the kettle and it had to be taken into the bathroom for use. No dairy whitener or 3-in-one coffee. So one can only have black coffee in the room. Minibar cluttered with too many things for purchase and hardly any space to keep water bottles for cooling. The AC kept turning off by itself and needed to be turned on repeatedly. They did quickly provide a good quality pedestal fan upon request.

Overall a very good experience. Staff in general very attentative. Well maintained clean hotel, with very nice and spacious rooms. The kids area is very suitable for our young one. Gym was really good to be honest (new equipm nt) Furthermore the location is at a car free walking street and at walking distance from main eyecatchers. Breakfast high level in quantity and quality. Actually the best we had sofar. Lovely housekeeping staff genuinely friendly!

These are not major things but anyhow: Everywhere from north to south Vietnam where we went a babycod was provided free of charge. In this hotel they charge 200k which is really high for Vietnam. This doesnt suit the quality of this hotel. Furthermore as stated in other reviews the pool is too cold for comfort. I read generic replies like: “rest asured that etc etc”. But its aparently still cold. Reception staff friendly and very correct but slightly to formal for our (holiday) preference.

The hotel is good for a short stay in Hue. The breakfast is good and has a large variety of options. The room was large and comfortable, whilst a little run down. The staff were friendly and helpful organising transfers from the airport and to Hoi An. The sauna / steam room were good (for a fee) but we had to wait after our booked time as they were a bit disorganised and it wasn't hot enough yet.

There was an event hosted on the 6th floor during our stay with very loud music coming through to our room on the 5th floor until after 10pm. The gym is poorly equipped and without aircon. The location had some shops nearby but was about 20mins walk from the main part of town.

Very nice hotel. We stayed for one week and enjoyed it very much. The room was excellent and the staff kept everything in perfect condition. The breakfast buffet was very divers and of excellent quality. We used the gym every day and had great workouts on the machines. The ladies at the reception, Ms Huong and Ms Thu, were always there for us and very helpful. This hotel was an unforgettable experience during our Vietnam holidays.

There are quite a few bus tourists in this hotel and some of the people were quite loud at night.

The hotel was close to the river and within walking distance of the citadel. They closed the street on Friday evening and there was a lovely vibe with local children playing games and street music. The staff were very helpful especially Thu, Giang and Anh. Initially we thought it may be a little out of the way for places to eat but we actually found several restaurants. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice available!

The shower flooded the bathroom as the screen leaked and wasn’t wide enough. Need to consider this next time a refurbishment is done. No other issues

Great rooms. Well kept and clean. Superb breakfast and service.

Some of the reception staff speak very little English which made it difficult. But they did try very hard. We only had one free day and wanted to see Khe Sanh. The manager arranged a private car, which turned out to be her husband. After specifically asking only to go to Khe Sanh he took us to 3 other tourist spots of no interest. Then said it was too late for Khe Sanh. 3 million dong wasted. And to top it off he added another passenger to our car hire. Probably at our expense. It was my last chance to make that trip so bitterly disappointed. Scam.

Very nicely decorated hotel, with a great view from the 11th floor. Excellent breakfast with so many options to choose from. Rooms also very spacious and bed very comfortable. The staff super friendly, they explained the diffrent things we could do in Hué and also gave a little snack when we left, which was a nice touch. Location also very good, close to the bars and restaurants, but far enought to avoid the noise.

Breakfast is served on the 12th floot and it was a bit nosy in the morning, as we were on the 11th floor, just under the breakfast area.
