Located in Giza, so close to the pyramids and sphinx. Across the road from the Grand Egyptian Museum, but, and it’s a big but, you can’t walk there. You need to go by taxi because of the traffic and the way the roads are built.

There are two parts to this place, the Pyramid Hotel and the Steigenberger Pyramid Hotel, so working out where to get your meals was a bit of work.

The first night was a more run down room but we changed the next morning and really liked the newer room. The newer room had excellent water pressure for showering and had a clean bathroom. The gardens are beautiful as is the pool. The food at the restaurant near the pool is tasty. The pool area has a wonderful sitting area and one of the best aspects of the hotel. I loved the tile throughout the second room and hope they do that with all their rooms. The chair and table on the patio is great to have since it’s your own for each room

The first room we stayed in needed some upgrades and was pretty lacking in cleanliness. For example, the bathtub was very stained and very unappealing to use. We chose not to shower until we got to the newer room. The second room which was much better had issues with the internet and we had to use our own cellular data while staying in it.

The hotel was superb, amazing rooms good size and the terrace was fab!!! The meals were top quality and every night a great variety of different dishes. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful and advised me on the restaurant food and assisted me in many ways. Special thanks to the cleaning crew mostafa & mostafa Mohamed who I got to know well over the 7 days stay, great guys and they work really hard, the room was spotless!!! I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here, I will be returning in October …. Wonderful 🩷 thank you for an amazing holiday xxx

The whole staff was nice, welcoming and so professional. Thankfully, They even compensated me for a free open buffet breakfast because of an issue that happened upon check in. The Room was so spacious, comfortable, well designed and clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The open buffet breakfast had lots of varieties and was so wonderful.

The hotel system wasn’t updated and they had to update it to make sure that I paid for the stay through Booking.com ( I was asked upon check-in and check-out ) Also because I booked through booking.com, I had to move all the way from Cairo Pyramids Hotel’s reception to Steigenberger Pyramids hotel’s reception to check-in to Cairo Pyramids Hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised. We knew the hotel was old and outdated. But the rooms were well maintained and clean. Of course there were hiccups but overall very pleasant. The hotel is doing full reconstruction of the bungalows and it looks like they will be great once completed. Breakfast was in the Steingerberger and was amazing. Nice espresso. The reception staff was very polite and helpful - I give credit to all people I talked to.

The pool and the restaurant The pizzas are mediocre - they have a perfect oven, just need to make good pizza dough by themselves and put natural ingredients (not canned veggies and tomato sauce). The pool definitely needs full remake - I suppose they do not have automatic chlorination system and filters. We saw chlorinating the water manually

Very pleasant stay in a 5 star hotel right by the pyramids. I enjoyed my stay so much and was being attended to by professional well trained staff. My special thanks to the managers: mr ali from the front desk and mr abdel ghaffar the duty manager, also the kind f&b managers. The room was very clean and the sheets changed daily. Breakfast was also delicious. The gardens are so relaxing and well kept. Live music by the pool in the evening.Thank you mr walid gm for reviving this beautiful hotel.It was a great pleasure.Looking forward to my next visit inshallah.

Really lovely hotel with a pool and restaurant by the pool which was great as many are cold and air con and not close to nature. loved sitting at the restaurant watching the sunset. the restaurant was also really accommodating and friendly and made me a vegan gluten free meal

the room next door were smoking a lot right next to me when i was trying to practice yoga in my verandah area so no privacy

I liked that it was on the ground floor. The best thing was no noise from traffic. The only place I’ve stayed in Cairo that I could not hear the traffic. Shared facilities with the steignburger hotel made it amazing

Lots of Mosquitos in the room. The construction work at the property had ugly barriers and workmen wandering around outside.

It was a great experience in front of the Pyramids. The stuff is very friendly and specially Shaima,Ahmed, from animation team , Reda ,Ahmed, and alaa in the reception in Magdi the singer who sings at night all the top. They are really very friendly and they help you. They do everything for you, whatever you ask them to do it

I have stayed in the Shallet Design with a studio type of room, all required furniture is available. The hotel has exchange currency machine that helps you to exchange your currency to EGP. It has two swimming pools

The location is near the Pyramids but other main places require a taxi drive between 35 - 45 minutes every trip especially if you are heading to new Cairo, Maadi, Nasr City all east areas.
