We arrived late tired in the dark with 2 dogs & the welcome was lovely & friendly excellent service & staff were attentive evening food very good . The selection of breakfast items excellent & set us up for the day . Hotel was fabulous with a beautiful setting & good walks . Everything was very good .

Size of rooms and beds was excellent. Clean and very comfortable. Adjoining bedrooms worked well for our family. Cool, relaxed feel to the hotel. Lovely walks from the hotel.

The car charging was no good. The cables trail across the ground so I would have driven over them plus there was not enough room to swing my car into the parking space. I supposedly booked the space, but there seemed no evidence of an official booking. This would have been a problem if I had desperately needed to charge. Breakfast was very good but expensive - especially for my two young children who only ate a small amount.

The ordered meal as dinner was in fact something reheated by the receptionist at the microwave oven, which I was reluctant to eat. There's no restaurant staff working afternoon. Breakfast was below basic and 19 euros / set, which I was charged is quite expensive.

Lovely position not far from the main road but so quiet and peaceful. Our room was small but none the less very comfortable with big windows looking down towards the river. Safe parking in hotel carpark. Sadly the restaurant was closed the night we were there but we could order a good meal which we had sitting on the patio. Staff friendly and helpful.Enjoyed our stop over.

Next time we will try to go when restaurant is open as it looked very good!

Comfortable room with a view of water and chateau. Good blinds/curtain system. A spectacular breakfast......what a joy to come down to! Staff absolutely so helpful. Secure car parking....important to us with a fully loaded car Half an hour to city centre

In old age shower in-bath not easy. Could have had a rubber mat for bath anti-slip and a handle..... but we are a bit infirm If i had asked i am sure a mat would have been available

Everything, staff was super friendly and attentive, nice quite small townhood with great lake and tacks, room was spacious and the view was great. Wonderful and comfortable stay, wish we have had more days there.

We travel every year from Spain to the uk and always do an overnight stop in France. We are always disappointed with dirty hotels, rude staff and terrible locations. This time it was different. By far the best place I’ve stayed in 10 years in France. Absolutely 1st class location, scenery, staff and food. I will never stop anywhere else again. Well done keep it up.

The location was good. There was a Michelin star restaurant attached to the hotel, unfortunately it was fully booked. However there was an excellent Auberge situated by the lake only a 10 minute walk away (or a couple of minutes drive with plenty of parking available.) The staff were amazing and went out of their way to be helpful.

That they had locally orderable meal in a jar. Pork Cheeks in this case and they were delicious.

That the closest open restaurant was too far for me to drive at night after a day of driving. The parking lot was at the opposite end of the reception, requiring luggage to be pulled a long way.

Beautiful location fantastic amenities. Outside space was beautiful and very relaxing. Staff excellent.

It was very expensive for one night largely due to having to order food in. The drinks were expensive too. Food we had was delicious and service great but would not stay again due to price.
