First time in Owen Sound. The hotel is at the beginning of the city, not far from the shopping plazas. The place is quiet, the hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. Our room was on the main floor with an exit to the courtyard. It was quiet, although the hotel has a lot of visitors with small children. The room has two beds, there is air conditioning, TV, microwave, refrigerator, ironing board and iron, hair dryer and coffee maker. The hotel has a large swimming pool and a separate jacuzzi. There is a sauna near the fitness room. For breakfast we liked coffee, sausages and scrambled eggs, yogurt and juices. Parking is free.

Everything is ok

This is an old property but pretty decent for the price. I was pleased to see Sofa bed and microwave in the room. Didn't see that in Hilton in Muskoka as well. Plus, they have a very big swimming pool. The staffs were really kind and nice. There is a very good restaurant called Sizzle Spot just 5 minutes walk from the property. Pros- Location, Good complimentary breakfast, large swimming pool, no parking issues. Cons- Nothing really.

Did not know about major construction and our room had a massive bin right in front of the sliding door with caution tape that we had to go under to access the parking lot. Also since the bin was there we were not able to park in in the parking lot and had a very long walk to get to the room. I am disabled and have a lot of stairs. If I would have known this I would have figured out the alternative to get there

My wife and I enjoyed your facilities: the room was great, the beds most comfortable, the breakfast superb. The only thing that disturbed us greatly was the constant loud hammering right next to the eating area. The hotel management should have asked the workmen to do other jobs not involving hammering so loudly.

The room was very clean and comfortable, I like the amenities of the facility - pool, hot tub etc.. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The facility is getting a bit old. When I arrived the lamp at the bedside didn't work and there was no cord attaching the phone. Fortunately the staff worked very hard to correct these things as soon as possible,

Update facilities. Tv could be better and allow for streaming or Google Chrome-casting. Improve bathrooms with better lighting, better shower heads, and nicer soaps. Cozier bedding, softer. A more comfortable arm chair in the rooms. Better brand of coffee in the room.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with the availabiity of fresh waffles and ready made hot omlettes. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

There was no ventalation fan in the washrooom and the carpet in the hallways were a bit dirty. Staff were vacuming, however I think they need to be steam cleaned.

My room was what I expected with everything I needed for my stay. The breakfast nook was adequate but it only provided a toaster on the weekend. The pool and hot tub looked great but I didn't take advantage of them.

The ice machines were out of commission, but Matthew at the front desk came to my rescue and provided some from the kitchen.

My family loved that there was access to an indoor pool and had a great time spending the evening splashing around. Our room was quite clean and the breakfast was satisfying.

Even though the linens were clean and there were a selection of pillows available, our beds could have been more comfortable. We did not have the greatest sleep. The room was nice and quiet though.
