size and cleanliness of the room

the sink to wash hands and brush teeth were in the bedroom and not the bathroom...

The location is great and the front of the hotel is perfect for Chinatown. Our room was very large and had plenty of space for our luggage. The beds were comfortable and the lamps were just right for reading. The shower had great water pressure and a rain shower head. Toiletries were exceptional. My husband enjoyed the scrambled eggs and sausage. I was disappointed as there was no yogurt while I was there. The fruit was also canned except for some green apples and oranges. The coffee and tea selection was great.

Just more fresh fruit and yogurt for breakfast.

Breakfast was good, room was spacious, location was ok. Sorry - but Los Angeles did not impress. Very dirty city and looked very very run down. Not the hotel - that was nice. But everywhere else in the locality was not as nice. But that was seen all over the city. Many businesses closed, boarded up, graffiti on street, walls, buildings, windows......... many many homeless everywhere on every street regardless of Skid Row, Holywood, Santa Monica or Beverly hills. Nothing nice seemed open - even on a Saturday evening.

Will probably never go back to L.A. unless forced too for business. Horribly dirty city

Very surprised at the comfort, cleanliness, space and convenience to other attractions in downtown LA. Did not expect the hotel accommodations to be as excellent as they were. And each morning enjoyed the full breakfast that energized and sent us on our way to enjoy Los Angeles. I will definitely recommend the hotel to others traveling to LA. Thanks!

I like the breakfast and the rooms were nice

Miss communication with the person who checked me inn , he took a deposit fees off my account and he said it will be back into my account in 5 working days but until now I haven’t received any thing and when I called today on the 20 /02/2024 the person on the reception was so rude to me she even switched me off the phone and ended u talking to my self … she told me that money takes 30 working days to back into my account which they didn’t tell me at check inn.. Don’t listen to anyone here if you have cash for deposit better use that but try to stay from swiping you’re card in this…

The theme of the hotel

That I can stay in the Hyatt in New Orleans, and NOT have to pay a $200 deposit, that will sit in my bank for 3 days until it's released back to me. I could understand if they had the furnishings of the Hyatt or the Hilton, but this hotel is neither. Also the fact that the ad said NO PREPAYMENT, YET they took the money from my acct 4 hours before I even checked in. I didn't even know if I would like the place yet they took my money before I even saw the hotel.

The rooms were clean

I booked a night and I like the place so I booked two more nights however the person I. Reception never said that there was a game in the city and I had to pay $200 more for that night. At the end I was very upset because they booked two more nights without explaining me that I has to pay more $350 for one night due to the game

Nice, clean location. The room was great modern style and newly renovated. The property is well-kept and seems like a hidden gem hotel.

No complaints other people than the property manager were supposed to refund the parking, and I was never contacted. I had asked for a refund due to the front desk worker not having room key activated checking out late and the room not working while checking out having to go downstairs three times before I got a working key just so I could check out, and the elevators are ridiculously SLOW so that alone took thirty minutes.

Rate for room 154 that's fine... but the dagger to the heart.... 200 dollars for a hold for incidents.... and a 7 to 10 day hold. WOW!!! That let me with 28 dollars for the night. I was appalled when they suggested to get cash at ATM down the block... 6.50 surcharge to just get cash, wanted to cancel but they wouldnt, said they would just charge the 154 if I just wanted to leave.. my cost 154 if I just left and not stay, 354 with a 7 day hold on 200... Breakfast included.. no proteins served. Egg, potatoes, pancakes you make, waffle you make or cold cereal..

Nice hotel located in Chinatown, good starting point to see Hollywood, the Observatory, Disney Concert hall, Dolby Theatre etc. Rooms are large and were renovated recently, staff was always friendly and helpful. Excellent Chinese food is available nearby.

Due to Covid restrictions, breakfast was not served as a buffet (as described in the internet), but as pick-up at the reception. Also, the Gym was closed, and renovations still were ongoing (noise by day).
