This is the second year I've booked an longer stay (Anime Expo) and for the value and location, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. It is located in Little Tokyo and is less than a 5 minute's walk to the metro station which will directly take you to the Pico Station located right next to the convention center. Keep in mind that bathrooms & showers are shared spaces, but they are well-maintained. I also used the laundry facility (keep in mind, coin laundry) and found it very convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay near the Little Tokyo area and will be using the metro systems.

It was located perfectly, the staff was super nice, shower and bathrooms were perfectly good and the neighbourhood Little Tokyo is so lovely and safe. Mini fridge in the room was very nice! We checked out at 11am but had a couple hours before we needed, and the front desk were lovely and kept our bags secure until then, very sweet.

It was a bit hot due to there being no air condition (historical building so they are not allowed to install)

Excellent location near Little Tokyo, 15 minutes walk from Union Station. Super clean hotel.

Have stayed before and has great location. We enjoy the neighbourhood The hotel is always clean which is amazing considering they are shared bathrooms. Comfortable bed. Would stay again.

Was in an extreme heatwave 104f and no aircon but knew before, that was the case 3 fans in the room. Note-there are stairs to carry bags up Staff are very helpful

Can't speak highly enough of the staff, they were all so friendly and helpful. As soon as I arrived I was given a warm welcome, and various recommendations of places to visit and things to do during my stay. The hotel has good facilities, no problems with the WiFi and the kitchen has an oven, microwave, toaster, everything you need. It's in a good location, there are many restaurants nearby, and it's only a 10 minute walk to catch a bus or the metro, around 15-20 minutes walk to the downtown area. The rooms aren't exactly luxurious but for the price I expected much worse (there are worse hotels in worse areas charging significantly more than this hotel) - the bed was comfortable, and there was a fridge in the room which is always a plus. Would absolutely stay here again and 100% recommend it :)

No bugs. All the sheets were very clean. The bed was fairly comfortable. Two pillows. The shared bathrooms were really clean and nice, especially the showers. Shared kitchen was nice to cook your own food. Location to Union Station is a short walk.

The rooms are outdated, and the nightstand table was run down. Closet was off the hinge track. Noise level can be bad from outside depending on room. I got lucky this time and was in the back of the building. It was much appreciated. Be sure to bring ear plugs.

The staff was super nice and helpful, accommodating my needs very well. I loved the Little Tokyo region, so it was delightful to visit the Japanese shops and restaurants around the hotel. I came in knowing very well what to expect from the facilities. The hotel has 2 bathrooms and 2 showers per floor, that is shared among all rooms. But the bathrooms and showers were always very clean. The hotel is not super comfortable, and there's no room service at all. But for the price, in the area, I think it has great value.

The room was a little cold, since there was no heating. But I asked for an extra blanket, and then it was fine.

The hotel had a very comfy and cozy feel. It was located around many shops and restaurants - was able to walk around the area. The room and bathrooms were clean and tidy.

There was no parking at the hotel - had to pay separate at a parking lot. No bathroom in the room but luckily stayed in a room right down the hall from it.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, always willing to help. They let us stay a few hours in the kitchen after we checked out and gave us a coffee to make the stay more comfortable.

The wifi was not good. We couldn’t use it during our star as it was not working.
