The properly was clean, with great views and amenities, including a rooftop bar.

Unfortunately, during our stay we had a galaxy smart watch go missing from our room, and we subsequently declined to have the room tended to. Whilst the staff were responsive and offered to speak with housekeeping, we've since had zero communication from the hotel, despite emails. This was a very disappointing end to our stay, which was otherwise faultless, and means we would be unlikely to stay at Arlo again, or to recommend the hotel.

The room was nice. The hotel is really pretty inside and the people that work there are all really kind. Especially the bellmen and people that check you in/out. There is a cool little cafe that you can get coffee and all kinds of treats and really neat little cocktail mixers and whatnot. We did get there early and they did give us a really early check in at no charge which was very cool. Also we did a late check out and there was no charge to stay 2 hours late as long as we leave before 1:00. After that it costs around 50 bucks. And they held our bags for us for a few hours which was nice.

The bed was ok, pillows so fluffy, too fluffy. You have to pay 30 bucks a day, silly charge for gym, use of bikes/ water restock. No one restocked our room with waters and towels or cleaned it or emptied the trash in 2 days. And we didn’t have the “do not disturb” on. There is no refrigerator. Only a “cooler” that looks like a fridge. A fancy hotel like this should have fridges in the rooms, imo. Lots of sirens at night and people honking their horns which woke me up a couple times.

The location was amazing! Very close to all the hustle and bustle of 7th Ave and Times Square but, far enough away to still feel like you are in a cool, friendly New York neighborhood. I was really impressed.

Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are modern, comfy bed and nice bedsheets. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Even managed to get checked in slightly earlier which was appreciated after a long flight. Location is within walking distance to Times Square and has great food options around.

Rooms are so small but that’s expected in New York. My room wasn’t 100% clean as there was a chunk of hair on the floor. Everything else spotless so this is something so minor.

Location is great! Walking distance to most of the popular tourist destinations. Easy to walk back from late-night broadway shows.

The price is a bit high considering I booked the city view with extra but didn’t get a great view. Instead, we stayed at the corner of the floor with half of the window staring at the building across from us.

Amazing location, clean tidy rooms with amazing view. Comfy bed that was huge and ideal for two friends sharing. Really friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to others staying in nyc.

There wasn’t much that we didn’t like. Roof top bar didn’t open until 4pm would have been good to have service there earlier. But really that’s me picking out something very small. It was a fantastic stay, hotel and brilliant staff

My husband and I decided to stay overnight in the city for my birthday. We arrived at the hotel around 1 and anticipated that our room would not be ready for 3pm check in. To our surprise, our room was ready and early check in was waved! Our check in with Blake was seamless, and he informed us of all the amenities within the hotel. We were then shown to our room by Gurkan who also helped us with our luggage. Our King room was spotless, and also had an amazing view. We decided to check out the hotel before heading out for the day. ART Midtown (rooftop bar): amazing views and skilled bartenders. Highly recommend the Honeydew Negroni. Bodega: Surprisingly great coffee! The store also offers small bites, cold drinks, and beer. Fitness center: Includes a wide range of fitness equipment. Includes towels and a water-bottle filling station. City Bike: Alex at the front desk helped us with our complimentary City Bike day pass, which includes a $10 voucher. My husband and I absolutely loved them. Bells & Whistles: Arlo has great add on’s for your room including wine & food options. My husband had a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries delivered, and the hotel even threw in an additional sweet treat. Overall an amazing stay. Elevator system was a little confusing at times, but you get the hang of it.

Location great in a quietish (for New York) side street - walkable to Times Square etc Staff friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant very good and liked the fact that we could have the option to eat pizzas and a bar menu in the bar especially good value when Lucky Hour 4-7pm was on. Rooms clean and beds very big and comfortable.

Rooms aren't huge but guess that is New York. However, they varied in layout for the same price - we paid for 2 upgrades to King City view. Our daughters had a huge airy bathroom with big windows and city views but their bed was against the wall so one had to climb over the other to get in and out of bed and couldn't fit any suitcases under the end of the bed so they ended up with their cases open on the floor for our stay. Our bedroom had a much smaller darker bathroom with no windows but we could walk around the bed and had a window seat overlooking the view. The various city and state taxes hike the price of the rooms up considerably.

We had an amazing stay in Arlo. The view is absolutely beautiful. Didn't watch the TV once, just enjoyed the great view. The room is not huge but somehow feels spacious. I really appreciated that the Room has everything you need for daily use, like a steam iron, mini fridge, a safe, an umbrella The room was perfectly clean and housekeeping visits every day. Bed was comfy, very good sleep. Coming back to New York, I would certainly consider coming back to Arlo.

Not many amenities to spend time in the hotel. Like a pool, etc. The location is good if you want to see the main city attractions, the are all a very short walking distance away. However, if you're looking for a quieter neighborhood with less tourists and crowds, this might not be the best choice.

We stayed here for 7 days and absolutely loved our entire stay! The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The hotel is very clean and has such a lovely smell when you walk in. Our room had a fantastic view, we stayed on the 21st floor. In the evenings, we loved just sitting by the window and soak it all in. The room was cleaned daily and freshened up with new towels unless you don’t want to be disturbed. The roof top bar on the 26th floor is amazing, you can see the Empire State Building from here. The location was perfect, easy to reach by the subway or just by foot. Most comfy bed and the room was bigger than expected, we had enough room for all our stuff. There is a restaurant, a café and a bar within the facilities.
