Location very good. Room more than excellent with a wide view to the sea and we could see the light of Tower of Hercules at night, but then I think we were upgraded for free.... at least I don't recall reserving a suite with four beds... Breakfast very good too- first time in this trip that I had fried eggs plus orange juice machine-squeezed in front of me. If, in the future, they add some nuts for the yogurt it will be even better. Building looks somewhat old from outside but inside it is all new and decorated with good taste. Does not have a private garage which usually means I will not stay there, but in this case their solution was very agreeable. There is a large public garage with 24-hour surveillance under the hotel. You park there, selecting a parking place around number 530 and when you go up the stairs you are in front of the hotel. They have a contract and 24 hours costs a reasonable 13 euro. You have to take a paper slip from the hotel to be awarded that rate.

The only things I can remember, but were not sufficient to cost them a point in my rating are: - the liquid soap for the bath was stuck and you had to squeeze it while holding the piston down to get soap. I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND why hotels insist in using this crappy sort of piston dispensers which are often so very troublesome; - the door to the bathroom was a sliding door which did not allow too much privacy.

The hotel is in a prime position, very close to all the interesting historical sites and right opposite the beach. The reception staff even kindly provided a towel for us to use at the beach whilst they looked after our luggage!

The parking was a bit tricky to find and probably needs a better explanation and diagram. Also, unless you were there right at the start of breakfast, some of the food had been clearly sitting out for quite a while. However, at least there was plenty of fresh fruit and the staff were kind enough to sort out gluten free bread.

Perfect location right on the seafront, overlooking the beaches and bay on the western side of the peninsula. It is well worth paying for sea views. These were spectacular from the room, and also from the restaurant. The room was very well appointed and even had a kettle and fridge. It was very quiet with no noise from inside or outside. Don't miss the restaurant which is superb. I can recommend the smoked sardines on toasted brioche with turnip mayonnaise, and the homemade tarta de Santiago - both truly delicious. It is an easy, short walk from the hotel to the bus stop for the airport. Excellent breakfast.

Nothing at all

Nice bright and pleasant room with a large window. The sleepers and bathrobe was a bonus. Shower was amazing. The kettle in the room was a very nice addition. Location is perfect, overlooking the beautiful Riazor beach.

I had a high floor room with a massive bay window and a large balcony which I couldn’t use much as cold time of year. My only regret was I couldn’t see the sea unless I was standing up in the room and especially I couldn’t see the beach which was blocked by the edge of the balcony unless I was leaning over. The doors slamming can be a little loud as people don’t hold them up.

Its an excellent hotel but there is always room for improvement....

The food its good but bussiness at the restaurant would improve (i beleive) if they offered some of the typical and very basic things like spanish omelettes and tablas of embutidos, even caldo gallego, cadeirada, paella, pulpo gallego...the location is fantastic so i would bet if they did, bussiness at the restaurant could boom! Also, the lighting its wrong. They have an amazing view but really dont make use of it on the restaurant. Its too bright, so when its dark, you cannot see the beautiful beach and bay... Just better thought lighting would make a huge difference. Other than that, i dont fault it but would be very top 5 start with relatively small changes. I would always go there anyhow.

Good view over bay. Modern and well appointed. Good breakfast with wide selection. Able to leave bags ahead of check in. Car park entrance took a while to find but once parked in bays 500-550 the foot exit is actually very easy and close. Had a lovely run along the bay in the morning - perfect location to be directly onto the easy run track along the front.

Quite a narrow room. Ok for one night - but probably a bit pokey for more nights. Interconnecting room doors meant we could hear every footstep next door.

You can’t get better views. Waking up to the sound of the sea is just the best. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a massive choice for everyone. The hotel is perfectly located for walking around the city with the city centre only a short walk away. Have stayed here multiple times and can’t recommend it enough.

We had an issue with our toilet blocking which wasn’t ideal but was just one of those things that happens. Staff quickly moved us to another room, as well as helping us move our stuff and hang our clothes.

The room was lovely, modern decor and bathroom with tub and bidet. View of the ocean was picture perfect, and the windows opened so you had the smell and sound of the waves.

We had pre-purchased the breakfast which was the only thing I would skip on return. Coffee from machine was not great, fruit was grainy and not ripe. They did have wide range of choice though and fresh orange juice machine was yum.

The staff, they are amazing. The location is great and our view from the 10th floor to the Riazor beach was wonderful. We have stayed here on numerous occasions and have always had a wonderful time and we will be definitely returning.

The duvet, much too hot and would have preferred a sheet and blanket.

View was amazing

Room was very small , husband recently recovered from cancer , had bladder and prostrate removed and left with a urostomy bag, difficult night due to smallness of room not much space to move around once beds separated. We didn’t say anything on booking as we and family members have stayed various times, room was not small, always had much better size room to move around, which one reasons returning to this hotel.In addition bed head board badly marked and lot marks on walls, never experienced this in pass.
