The staff are friendly and flexible and accommodating - they let my friend check in without any hassle even though she arrived before me (the booker of the hotel) which we really appreciated. The breakfast is plentiful and solid. The decor and physical structure of the hotel is where it really shines, though - our room had windows upon windows looking out on the Osum river, and lovely classic wooden furniture and wood floors. The stone steps and stone terrace were gorgeous and a lovely place to sit and watch Berat, and the ambience was quiet and lovely and it felt very authentic and small and unique. The location is perfect - right in the middle of the cutest part of the little old historic town.

Based solely on my personal preferences, I would say that the mattress was slightly too hard and the shower was slightly too small. This is me being REALLY picky, though. I would say the coffee was not very good at breakfast which was a disappointment - it just tasted a bit weak and poor-quality, like it was run through one of those awful Keurig instant coffee machines instead of being a real espresso.

It was exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly. It’s location was exceptional—as everything is about 10 minutes away. So, it was very easy to visit places.

The deluxe room with the balcony isn’t quiet and is situated next to the restaurant. For that reason, whenever we were in the room it felt like we were hearing everyone else’s conversations. In addition, the balcony wasn’t worth it because it wasn’t private at all, again because it’s situated so close to the restaurant. On another note, breakfast was very standard and for the price per night can be more plentiful. It’s also the same every day (eggs, tomato, cucumber, and cheese), although it can be more varied—more fruits, some sausages, etc. Sometimes cut tomatoes and cucumbers can be stored overnight with the traditional fried bread which complicates the flavor, making the bread taste strange.

Very nicely renovated hotel, a combination of historic charm combined with modern elements. The owner was very accommodating and kind. Great location, definitely worth checking out the small streets around the hotel. The terrace of the hotel is already a highlight!

There are only three parking spots so we had to rely on street parking. The breakfast starts at 8 am and by the time it is served it was at least 8.30. This did not work with our schedule too well, as we booked activities earlier than that. The breakfast was also too little to leave us satisfied, as we are used to big breakfasts while traveling. But the home made typical donuts were great! Also, our window was just above the restaurant so the evenings were a bit noisy in our room.

Still thinking about this beautiful experience. 2 nights at the right choice made. Nestled beautifully on the slopes of the hill leading to Berat castle, this hotel also boasts a terrace restaurant serving traditional food. The check in staff was super warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious with stone walls, and a modern bathroom. An antique full length mirror and sandalwood scents made our stay really romantic and comfortable. Overall, the best value for money in Berat. Will definitely stay here again if my adventures have me returning to Berat in the future! Thank you! 28-30 May 2023

Great location in the center of Berat with a beautiful view from balcony, beautiful surrounding atmosphere and great staff. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great decor and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. About the restaurant: The ambiance is very welcoming. Amazing wines, food and service. Highly recommended for traditional restaurant.

The view from the room was absolutely amazing and the hotel is in such a perfect location. Love the Albanian charm of the decor while still making the room feel modern and clean. The breakfast was simple but very nice.

The room we were in was the most front facing and while it was lovely, the noise from the street could be a bit loud, but aside from a few noisy cars it really wasn’t a problem.

Perfect location. You are right in the city centre. The balcony with our room had the amazing views of Berat.Spending a little extra for room with balcony was well worth it. Breakfast was delicious and our host was very nice and helpful. She helped us book our taxi.I forgot an item in the room and she is helping us by arranging someone to bring it back to us in Tirana! Very hospitable and kind! The room was clean. You have original feature wall in the bathroom with modern fixtures and fittings. Room was spacious and the view was romantic.

The location was brilliant, right at the bottom of the beautiful buildings so it was easy to get to with a heavy suitcase. The staff were really friendly and the food in the restaurant and and breakfast were delicious!

We parked in the allocated space for the hotel but got a parking ticket. We are looking into it with the hotel so I’m sure it will be fixed 🙂 just better instructions on parking might solve this.

Everything was perfect. The decor, the location, the food was amazinggg, super fresh and tasty. Also the staff is beyond polite and very helpful. At this hotel the authenticity of the city is combined with the modernity of the facilities. The bathroom was quite modern. The prices for the value if offers are quite low. We were very happy after leaving the hotel. Wish the staff best of luck :)

Wonderful small hotel in a perfect location! Very friendly and attentive staff. We had the room with a balcony overlooking the river and the bridge and it was great to sit there an watch the world go by. There is a bit of noise from traffic but it didn’t disturb us. Highly recommend this lovely hotel!
