What isn’t to like about Villa Permet?! The building is just ethereal - renovated to the highest standard with the most beautiful rooms. The Al fresco breakfast is stunning and the location of the property in the old town is perfect. We loved our stay in Permet and highly recommend this property. It’s really well signposted when you arrive in permet and also has a great car park just to the side. Just a short walk to the cafes and restaurants and a very short drive to our white water rafting and thermal springs excursions.

Absolutely nothing

I loved everything about my stay! From the moment we arrived, the hotel looked exactly like the pictures—absolutely impressive. As soon as I entered, I noticed the reception area was well-heated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The kind staff greeted us warmly and even helped carry our bags to our rooms. To our surprise, they had upgraded our rooms from standard to deluxe! The deluxe room was just as advertised: sparkling clean and thoughtfully arranged. It perfectly blended traditional charm with modern comforts to create a cosy atmosphere. The bathroom was spotless nd beautifully styled in a classic design. The bed sheets were crisp, bright, and freshly ironed, adding to the luxurious feel. The room was filled with natural light and offered a stunning view of the entire city from above! The parquet flooring was warm underfoot, and we could adjust the heating to our liking, ensuring maximum comfort. Breakfast exceeded all my expectations. Each table was served fresh petulla (traditional fried dough) alongside homemade pastries with pasta flora, and two types of delicious homemade jam. The aroma and taste of the buttery treats were unforgettable. Fresh feta cheese, bread, and other options complemented the spread. We could also order from the menu, and I chose trahana, a traditional Albanian dish—a warm soup with bread pieces inside. The flavors of cheese and butter were heavenly. We also enjoyed gliko, a typical Albanian treat made of preserved fruits or vegetables in syrup, which had floral undertones. We topped it all off with mountain tea, sipping it outside on the terrace while taking in the view of the city. On the second day, we decided to have lunch at the hotel. The cook was kind enough to assist us in choosing dishes, and once again, everything was impeccably clean, beautifully served, and delicious, rich in flavours and aromas. The food was freshly prepared and authentically traditional. I will for sure recommend and return!

Amazing place! Our stay could not have been better. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, great location. All their staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was perfect as well. Spacious, good water pressure and super comfortable beds. Breakfast was great as well; we loved the petulla (fried dough), and it was great to get an omelette that is not deep-fried. We will definitely be back.

The dinner in their restaurant was disappointing. The chicken was really dry, which made it a challenge to eat with grits. This was a surprise, considering how great their breakfast was.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, parking space in front of the hotel The hotel is very beautiful, we slept in the junior suite on the third floor with a great view. The room was luxurious, very nice decorated room, good AC, great bathroom The room has a beautiful little yard in front of the hotel where they serve as well breakfast. The breakfast included local specialities and was served - very delicous. We very much liked our stay at the hotel! The hotel is in 5 min walking distance to the city center - there there is a variety of very nice restaurants with very good local food. (very much recommend the restaurant Sofra which is family owned)

There is not a lot to see or do in the city of Permet.

Amazing hotel at a great location with fantastic surrounding, staff is absolutely friendly beyond words. Since we came with a motorbike and the parking space was pretty full, they allowed us to park on a safer place on a patio/at the entrance, which we found an amazing gesture. We also decided to have dinner at the hotel, and even though the menu itself already looked incredible, we decided for a traditional dish recommended by the staff and we could not be more happy about it. There is also a possibility to buy local jam and wine which the offer at the breakfast - and talk about breakfast! 🥰. Room was incredible and the scent in the room and of fresh linen is something that will stay in the back of the nose for a long time (amazing scent of herbs, (maybe eucalyptus?) all over bathroom and also in the linen). beyond words and if we return to Permet this would definetly be our place to stay. Thank you Villa Permet!

We only regret we could not stay longer than just 1 night. Everything was beyond perfect.

We loved that this beautiful house had been sensitively restored and tastefully furnished. On arrival we had a friendly welcome and the waiting staff were all consistently lovely. We had a family room on the 3rd floor, with a/c, plenty of space and a quality bathroom. Lots of nice touches throughout which made it a quality experience. The outdoor dining area had a lovely ambience in the evening. Be aware that if this is a stop for you en route to Lake Prespa/Ohrid, the roads are mountainous, winding and in places the surface is really bad. Took us about 6 hours - very different to Google maps.

The only thing I’d say is that the food prices were quite high for the area, but the food and organic house wine was really good.

We had the Deluxe room, it was great and spacious. Clean and well decorated. Breakfast was really delicious and you had the possibility to choose a personal menu, and staff could make exceptions if we asked for smth not in the menu or not included. Parking limited, but the staff helped to find a spot, so no issues there.

Isolation of the room was not perfect, we could hear water running from other rooms, the phone ring of the neighbors. One of us had a room in the first floor that was not ideal to have, with the noise, steps and the kitchen next to it...

Gorgeous villa in Permet, the room was clean and just spacious enough, we had nice breakfasts outside with a nice view and the staff were really lovely , we also had dinner once in the restaurant and food was amazing! You can park your car just outside and walk down the city centre that is very close.

Our room was on ground floor just next to the kitchen so sometimes could hear a bit of noise and people walking by the windows but other than that everything was excellent

Everything was a top 10. Location, Food, Staff, Room. Location easy to access and has a great strategic view. Food was delicious. The Staff was super kind, helpful and very polite. The building was managed properly and it was a perfect mix between old and beautiful buildings and comfort. Almost forgot the cat which was the cherry on top of our experience and dded more love to that place... super recommended 🙌 and a big thank you to the staff who made our stay amazing ❤️

Villa Permet sits above the town of Permet in a nice quiet location but one can easliy walk down into town and the river. The hotel is built in the old style however has all the modern conveniences. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We chose to have dinner their our first evening and booked again for the second evening because it was so good. The area is well worth a visit and when you do be sure to book here!

The room was very large and roomy. Roomy enough for a sofa our comfortabel sitting space. That was the only thing missing.
