We loved everything about our stay. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is good. The hotel is steps away from the bus stop to Tirana and just a couple of minutes away from the pedestrian walking street where there are shops and restaurants. The best part of this hotel is the staff. Amazing service!! They are the friendliest and so helpful. They helped us with transportation to Theth and Tirana and let us store bags while we went to Theth for a couple of days. They even gave us a to-go breakfast on the morning we went to Theth. We cannot say enough nice things about this hotel.

We styed in this hotel for 2 nights and with clear consciousness, we can recommend it. Perfectly located in the walking distance from historic centre, this is the place to stay when in Shkoder. General impressions: You can see that this place was renovated not long time ago, and this was a good decision. Hotel looks fresh, clean and modern. And as a benefit, there is a big restaurant/ bar at the ground floor of the hotel, with both, internal and external seating spaces. Room: We booked a Deluxe Room. And again, this was a good choice. Room was very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Bed really comfortable and rather big. If you a bathrobe lover, this is not place for your, but if you, as I we are, shower fans, we found there everything what needed. Room was of course air-conditioned. The only issue was that this was rather loud. But still acceptable. TV available, but I do not recon seeing there any English channels. Still, if you are on holiday, who wants to be bother by sad news from around the World. The nice touch was the fact that our minibar was stocked with complementary fruits, and water. Maybe small thing, but makes you feel welcome. In general, room was as much as one would expect. Welcoming and allowing to rest after whole day of sightseeing. Breakfast: This was included in the room price. Even if I would try, I cannot say anything bad about breakfast in this hotel. Selection, although modest, was more than enough. Juices, fruits, coffee, savoury, etc., was good enough, that everyone could find something they like. I personally enjoyed it a lot and can only regret, that was not able being able to “stuff” myself more. Cleanliness: There is just one phrase I can use – clean and pleasant. I cannot fail it. After whole day being out of our room, we found it clean, tidy, fresh and our items being arranged so neatly. Big thank you to the cleaning staff. I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an amazing experience! The breakfast was outstanding, with a variety of fresh and delicious options, including unique traditional Albanian dishes. Every morning felt like a new treat! The service was top-notch; the staff was incredibly polite and helpful, making us feel right at home from check-in to check-out. The hotel was spotless—everything was exceptionally clean, from the lobby to our room. The location is perfect—convenient to all the spots we wanted to visit. The rooms were bright and spacious, filled with natural light from the many windows, and the air felt fresh and clean. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, great service, cleanliness, and a taste of local culture!

There is a lot I would like to say about my stay. My father and I felt like the hotel and the staff were one big family for us. Everything was great, all the staff and owners were so friendly and amazing and no matter how much I write it will not be enough. I recommend everyone to come and enjoy their stay in this wonderful hotel, to meet the amazing people and also visit this fascinating village where everyone just enters your heart with their kindness. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at! The staff were unbelievably helpful and so friendly. Every time we passed through reception they stood up, greeted us and asked if there was anything we needed. They organised our washing for a bargain price, returned folded on our bed the next day. They got us some milk to have with our cup of tea, parked our car for us! The room was large and had a nice view, breakfast was great with lots of variety. Great location close to the pedestrian area. We loved it!

service all round from the room to breakfast , cleanliness' staff at breakfast to reception staff including the owner all freindly, the bar staff a special thank you to reception for organizing my daughters hair to be styled at a local salon we were made to feel like family and are looking forward to our next stay in the future and a big thank you to the chambermaids who did our washing and ironing and my wifes dresses that fluid in the case had leaked on to the dresses, she was to wear for a wedding and they cleaned them to be just as new

I would recommend the red bricks hotel. Staff are super super nice, special thanks and hi to Jolanda. The room is clean, the fridge always full of several bottles of water and fruits. We appreciated this so much because not many hotels fill up the fridge every day. I loved the starlight ceiling in the room. The hotel is also a very short walk from the center. Breakfast is good, not my thing because everything is quite sweet and less savory but that’s my personal liking so I still rate it a good breakfast. One morning we had to leave early for an excursion and we got our breakfast packed to go. Very appreciated as well.

The staff of the hotel is the best I have ever witnessed. I was in the unlucky situation of having to deal with the aftermath of my motorcycle accident during my travels through Albania and needed a place to arrange things after being released from hospital. Ben, the hotel manager picked me up personally from the ambulance and made sure everything was fine. The ladies at the front desk were very involved in my wellbeing and made everything happen to help me get around and manage with the authorities. The place itself is also well organized and welcoming. Apart from my special situation I had a good time in their Hotel and will come back when I'm coming to Albania again!

Super close to the bus stop. Huge bed, super comfortable, great aircon. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Bonus snacks, water and fruit in the bar fridge (free of charge). Central location for catching buses, and also a close walk to the centre of town. We had to catch a bus early for a hike early the next day and they very kindly packed us breakfast and a bottle of water for the bus and ferry the next day. lighting for our room (301) was good, but we did spend another night in a different room (201), and the lighting there wasn't very good (only one or two options of lighting, very bright and harsh ceiling light, or bedside light, which didn't cast enough light)

bit more meat and eggs (protein) in the packed lunch would have been appreciated, but we were grateful to get anything, so not a big negative

From the moment we arrived, someone came out to help us park and then help get us settled in our room. The room was everything we could ask for…spacious, clean, comfortable, and light. In addition, the breakfast was varied and plentiful. Omelettes were cooked to order. The staff was available, friendly, and helpful.

My only complaint was regarding poor communication on managing transportation to the Komani ferry. We got there in the end but a ball got dropped in the process. Quite possibly could have been a language issue.
